Purchased for a SMB NAS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use two of these hard drives for my small business NAS. The read and write times (and cache) are great and definitely a noticeable difference over the WD Red drives they replaced; However, my one complaint is that these drives are noticeably louder as well when reading and writing. I've gotten used to it now but still worth noting depending on where you plan on ultimately putting them. For my personal setup, I use this network storage strictly for backup and as a NVR for our security cameras. I highly recommend using Copy for storing files offsite (for better redundancy).
