Wow, what a great purchase

Installation was easy, and transfer of games from external drive to the new internal drive was fast and easy. Had 2tb of PS4 games to transfer. Game play is great. And best yet, still have room for more games. Very quiet.

Works great till it overheats

Have played for hours in May and June with no problems. Come July and 80°+ weather and it overheats after about half an hour of play and shuts the PS5 down. It will not show up on screen and any games that are installed in it won’t show up either even after letting it cool for about half an hour. I have to physically remove it and reinstall it for it to work again. All the times I’ve had to remove and reinstall it it has been very hot to the touch. It would actually burn my fingers even after waiting a few minutes for it to cool down to remove it. It does cool down quickly once I remove it. My PS5 is in a well ventilated area. No AC though. If it weren’t for the overheating I would give it 5 stars. Like I said, it works great till it overheats.

Excellent Buy at the Right Price Point

Transferred some of my disc based PS4 game data to this SSD and what a difference of load times! Really easy to install!
