Bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, he said it worlds great! Definitely helped clear up some space and add some. Now he can play Cold War & Warzone to his hearts content. He has a PS4 worked perfectly.

This is a nice external storage to save your downloaded games in' But you will not br able to play the game until you transfer the files back onto your PS5. Good if you are downloading without Internet as its faster to tranger the files back and forth vs download a new file.

After researching info on the PS5 I found it that putting PS4 games on this drive will be compatible and playable on the PS5. Not to mention it creates more room on your PS4 or in my case my PS4 Pro. I was going to go with a 4TB but for me I just don`t play that many games so the 2 TB was sufficient.

I lacked the amount of extra storage space on my PS4 to do any big updates on my console. I had already whittled my library down to two games and it still wasn’t enough room to update Call of Duty Warzone. Having the extra storage room of this external hard drive has been a game changer, literally! I redownloaded all of the games in my library after I installed the hard drive and I still have the extra room I need for updates! It’s awesome!

Works really well and easy to set up. It comes with instructions on how to install, and if you still can’t figure it out just search it up on YouTube. Be careful when removing it from your ps4, you have to manually remove it from the system in the settings before removing it physically. If you just remove the drive without going to the settings first, it can corrupt the drive and delete everything on the drive, so be careful. I’m not sure it if was mentioned in the manual, but it was mentioned in the YouTube video I watched.

Bought this like most, because there isn't much room for games. Followed directions and it started right up. Moved games over to it and worked great. Only have had it for a short time, so don't know of any long term issues yet.

Works perfectly fine with PS4 and PS5. Allowed me to download all the games I want. Keep in mind that one can’t play PS5 games on the hard drive but can keep them downloaded for later use.

I got one previously for a normal PS4, added considerable space. Then upgraded to a PS4 Pro and through circumstances needed another one. Adds twice the space, able to hold many games. Easy to use and worth the price.

Works great with the PS5. All my PS4 games are on the HDD. Make sure after formatting the external hard drive then download your PS4 games. It'll automatically download and update to the external HDD...

Son loves it. Super spacious and easy to use. A lot of games can be held. A bit nervous to see how long it’ll last. I feel like if it breaks down it’ll screw everything up. Hopefully that won’t happen.

As simple as plug and play. No formatting necessary. It's pretty much a must-have for the PS5 since the game files are so large that you'll eat up that 2 tb pretty quickly.

Seagate is really the only external hard drive I would consider for a PS4. It is literally plug in and away you go. Has a nice PS logo and is sleek, not really anything else to say.

As soon as I plugged in the drive, it responded right away and was ready to use after doing the required formatting. transferring the games from my ps4 to the drive was a breeze also. i am so glad i got this drive.

Easy enough to set up and does what it should, expand the memory on my PS4. Not much else to say. Always been a fan of the brand and their quality with drives so it was an easy to decide purchase.

It is 2 TB of storage for a PS4. Plays the games directly from the storage. Perfect if you have a lot of games so you don't have to keep uninstalling and redownloading every time you change games

I purchased this 2TB hardrive for my sons PS4 and it is a great addition! Now he doesn’t have to erase any of his games in order to make room for his new games! He can easily transfer directly to the seagate!

This hard drive is very sleek and portable. It has plenty of storage space and is easy to use. There is absolutely no noise to distract you from playing games. It loads and saves perfectly without any issues.

If you are a heavy gamer I would suggest you buy this 2 TB hard drive. To be honest the size of the games files makes this product necessary and the actual size of the hard drive makes it super portable.
