    This is the second Seagate 2 TB External Hard Drive I had purchased from Best Buy. It did not work at all! It would connect to the computer and then disappear time and time again. I was afraid I would lose valuable data, so I returned it.

    I have bought this external hard drive two times. Both times I have accidentally disconnected this external hard drive and immediately lost all of my data. (hard drive fell off my desk and disconnected manually or was accidentally pulled) Surely there is a hard drive out there that can take having it disconnected without ejecting by accident at least once. Once is all it took for this hard drive to be completely useless.

    Terrible. Nothing but unfixable errors, "not responding", and unpredictable effects on syncing. It's too late to return it, and I give up on it. It's back to my 7 yo WD Passport which has never had, or caused, a problem.

    These days you need an external drive to store games! I did have an earlier version of this same drive plugged into PS4 which failed after 2 months!

    Worked Really well for a few weeks then the motors inside began to beep (yes beep) and the unit did not show up as being available. The motors did not run just the beep. I immediately return and picked up a WD SSD although it is only 1TB as opposed to 2TB
