    I originally purchased another brand that was marketed as designed for Apple Mac and suitable for a time machine. For some reason, it didn’t work so I bought a Seagate. Out of the box, it worked perfectly and setup as a time machine was easy.

    I only wanted a storage unit with a password. Now I have a drive that's gonna collect dust. I have no interest in the clouds. Again just wanted a storage unit with password protection.
