    An excellent movie. The young boy who plays the lead character steals the show with his facial expressions alone. However, the title of the movie is misleading. Maybe it should have been named Searching for the Next Bobby Fischer.

    This film is a story that anybody can enjoy, chess lovers and those who couldn't care less about the game. Underrated performances from Joe Mantegna and Ben Kingsley. It's a bit of a head-scratcher as to why this isn't so much more well-known. The DVD was only made available in the very immediate past.

    This story made made Joshua famous when he was still playing chess. A true story of a talented boy with discipline and dedication for hard work.

    "Searching for Bobby Fischer" is an instant classic that has somehow gone under the radar for all these years. In fact, this DVD wasn't even widely available until about 2014 or 2015. Even for people who aren't chess fans but can appreciate the competitive nature of the game, this movie will be appreciated.
