I think this game is so much fun! It's a very casual and relaxed game, meaning that there isn't much pressure or a lot of action.
On certain days, there is special events and different rewards. There are so many things for you to explore, experience, and enjoy!
The packaging of the item was secure and nothing inside was damaged. This game does NOT come with any villager cards, as well. But even so, there is plenty of content for everyone to enjoy.

The game is excellent, but Best Buy’s Online description lists this specific version as including a Special random Amiibo card which is not actually included! This was upsetting to my son who thought he going to get a card to use in this game and New Horizons.

Design your clothes, your furniture, your home and more in this installment of the Animal Crossing series. As Mayor you will make friends with animal townpeople, earn MEOW coupons to buy items, pass ordinances and finish public works projects. Players can find different animals (even under water), grow flowers & fruit, and dig up fossils. Visit the campground, the museum, nearby Tortimer Island, and many other locations. Tons of opportunities to build and decorate your world, similar to but more in-depth than Animal Jam. The game can also be expanded with Amiibo cards and figures, each unique character providing new bonuses, accessories, locations, or game modes. My daughter spent hours...and HOURS playing this during Christmas break!

I’ve been playing this game since its release day and I still love it. I even have 3 bugs left to catch and I’ve had SIX YEARS to complete everything. I love the real time game play, the music, the sounds, the thunderstorms, the shooting stars, the footprints, the tournaments, the holidays. I will continue to play it nearly daily until New Horizons comes out next year. I’m 39 and love it. I gave it to an 8 year old and she loves it. It’s great for everyone.

This is the first animal crossing game I’ve ever owned and played and I can see why people love this game so much. There is so much to do every day in your village. I’m only a week in and I’ve already spent at least 20 hours playing it. I carry it with me everywhere I go. The characters are cute and you become kinda attached to them lol. If you have amiibos this game is compatible with many of them and give you lots of cool in game items. Pick this classic up and cherish it!

Animal Crossing makes complete sense as a handled game, and New Leaf exploits the 3DS' potential to its fullest, while keeping the casual tone of the series intact. Lots to do, relationships to develop (in a very basic way of course), but the biggest fun lies in your role as the mayor of your town. Getting to make leadership decisions on aspects of the town is a trip. This is NOT the next version of "Civilization" series, but these newer features enhance the immersion while keeping things positive and warm.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a stellar experience for anyone looking for a more laid back game on the go. It's got a slow pace, but there's never a lack of things to do. Making friends with your animal neighbors, digging for fossils, fishing, and all the other aspects of the Animal Crossing experience are there, along some new fun that comes along with helping to build your new town. Originally bought the game digitally, but loved it so much that I had to buy a physical copy for my collection.

This is such a great game that allows you to enjoy a virtual world. It's like the Sims but I believe more enjoyable as the world and environment changes making for fresh changes. Thus updated version allows for amibo support.

I really enjoy this game. You get to be part of a thriving community in a world of animals. You can collect seashells and then sell them for the games currency which are called bells. You can also fish and shake trees for bells, but if you shake the wrong tree you might get stung by a bee. Save up your bells to buy a house. Overall a really cool game.

This game is beautiful and full of character. Like the previous game, it feels like you're playing a Miyazaki movie! The combat is simple, but rewards and punishes based on how well you pay attention to your team, equipment, and enemy strengths and weaknesses.
The pacing is fast, and it never feels like you're stuck grinding in one place too long. Each new area is beautiful with its own array of characters, styles, and amazing atmospheric music. It flows nicely, but nothing feels rushed. Exploring, talking to people, completing side quests, and managing your kingdom is really fun and oddly relaxing.
All in all a wonderful game!

The game may start off a bit slow, but once you pick up some steam there is a lot to do and a lot of flexibility on how to achieve your own goals in the game. Only complaint we have is that the game only allows one mayor per game cartridge, and all other characters created on the same cartridge are regular citizens of the town and do not have the same experience as the mayor character. Otherwise it's a fun, cute game and worth a try for any casual gamers!

Tons of features and things to do along with multiplayer makes this the best in the series since GC. No NES games still, but definitely worth your time if you like the rest of what prior games in the series offered.

Game starts simple with not much happening.. but has a lot of depth and content.. the more you play the more the game reveals.. very thought out.
Can easily become boring.. I would suggest google the items you find or collect, will help bring fresh things in the game.

I haven't completed this game, so my review is based on first impressions (or about 5-10 hours of gameplay). Then again, I'm not sure this game even has an end...
This is my first experience with Animal Crossing, and it's proven to be among the most relaxing games I've played. I must say that the formula works well on the 3DS. It's something you can choose to really dig into, but I've found it also works well if you just play for an hour or so each day. Time in-game reflects real time, so if you're a night owl, you may find it somewhat annoying that shops close over the course of the evening and don't re-open until the next morning. That said, collecting items, outfits, furniture, and even helping the townsfolk with their basic "get me this item" tasks is surprisingly enjoyable. A nice, low-pressure game that should appeal to fans craving for a more laid-back slice-of-life experience. Also, Isabelle is super cute.

I bought this game to ease into Animal Crossing since it would be my 1st time playing any Animal Crossing game. This game is addicting, adorable, fun and very easy to play. The graphics look nice on the 3DS, sound is great and the controls are spot on. Whether you play solo, family or friends, this game is made for everyone. It's something to unwind to after a long day or just enjoy on day off. Can't wait to play New Horizons after I'm done with this one. Thank you.
