Brutally hard and satisfying when you beat it unlike the super easy Kirby games

Donkey Kong draws you in with its wonderfully warm and gorgeous surroundings. But what keeps you there is the challenge. Getting through a level isn't always super-hard, but doing it while accomplishing all the side-challenges will really test your skill! The best part about this kind of level design is that it caters to both the casual and serious gamer. Well worth the price!

Classic DK country. It's fun with friends but very difficult at times.

I had been wanting to play this new DK game for a while, but was unwavering on the fact that I was not going to pay full price ($60) on it. Wouldn't you know it that Nintendo added it to their "Greatest Hits" list and it is now $20. I love the game. It is everything I remember about DK from the SNES days. Beautiful and challenging. The characters do play a bit heavier than I believe they should, but I guess they are giant primates... If you are a platforming fan, buy this game.

If you loved the Donkey Kong Country series you will love this game! Excellent graphics, very challenging, very fun.

Games these days hold your hand for too long. This game does not do that at all. They teach you basics within the first few worlds and then it's all incorporated in different levels while the game ramps up in difficulty. The game looks beautiful and the controls are fluid. Recommend playing with a friend.

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is a superb little platformer in the same vein as its predecessors. The platforming is challenging and enjoyable, the graphics are vibrant and beautiful, the music is simply great, all around a very fun game for any 2d platforming fans. Doubly so for Donkey Kong Country series fans.

I grew up playing the Donkey Kong quarter arcade game and loved it back then. This game, however takes it to a whole new level of fun. My son and I have been playing this nonstop. This game has several islands to visit and can get very challenging at times. A must for your video game collection. Buy this now!

I originally made this purchase for my wife so she could play with our kids but after watching them play a few levels I found myself wanting to play as well. After trying it out I can honestly say this title brings me back to the days of the original Donkey King Country that launched on the Super Nintendo. If you were a fan of that game back in the 90's you'll definitely fall in love all over again with this one.

Tropical freeze is probably the best DK game to come along since the SNES days. Levels are easy enough for beginners but finding and collecting all secrets is a challenge. You can play with all four DK characters, who can team up to pull off special attacks and mechanics depending on the combination. The levels are bright and beautiful and bosses fights are well thought out.
