Bought this for a family member. Age 9. Loves the game. Really enjoys collecting whatever it is she collects. Also likes to shop around and change how her character looks. Seems like a great game if she plays more of this than the pre-installed game her Nintendo 2DS has.

Playing Animal Crossing can quickly go from a few minutes a day to your entire weekend every weekend. You get as much as you put into it. It's a beautiful game that, when you put the time in, rewards you with meaningful moments that feel very personal. Check it out!

I've been playing the Animal Crossing series since the first game came out here in 2001. New Leaf for the 3DS is an amazing installment in the series. It recently received a new update that adds amiibo functionality, so that you can use the Nintendo amiibo figures and cards to unlock things in the game. They are not at all required to play or do well at this game, however. Animal Crossing is a successful, established game series that appeals to a wide audience. It's a game that you can take at your own pace, and it really isn't possible to "lose" and it's definitely not possible to "die." There's a lot of content that provides a lengthy amount of play time and it's absolutely worth the money. It is appropriate for all ages, though some reading ability is probably required to enjoy the game properly.

In a world where edgy garbage is cool and good wholesome fun is considered pablum, this cuddly town simulator is one of a very few modern titles that defiantly stand in the breach as positive and pleasant experiences. This game is very low stress, playful and fun-loving. There's lots of things to buy, do and see. The mechanics of how the townsfolk and services of the town work are just complicated enough to keep you interested and reward you for achieving new things each day. Animal Crossing: New Leaf is definitely a great way to relax and cool off after a long day. 10/10

We own 4 copies of this game for everyone in the family. It's so much fun and they just updated it with Amiibo support (animal crossing figures and cards) and added new areas so it's even better than ever. You'll need to get an adapter for Amiibo support if you do not have the New 3DS.

This game sounds simple but there is actually lots to do in it. Every day there's things that need doing and more surprises to discover. What's really awesome is you can play with others that visit you in your town or vice versa. Many many Facebook groups are out there that can help too.

Bought this game for my younger sister & she enjoyed playing the game.

I have been a big fan for Animal Crossing for years and this is the first time playing it on a portable system. This is a great game to kill lots of time so many tasks to do and if you played previous versions you will feel right at home.

So, this game may look like a child's game, but it's not. Animal crossing is fun for all ages. It's very relaxing. I usually find myself playing in the evenings to wind down a bit. Whether you're 8 or 80, you'll enjoy Animal Crossing.

This is our fourth copy so everyone in the family can play all at the same time. It's a fun game and makes for a fun night of family time.

I got this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it! It has so much for her to do. She decorates her house, completes quests, finds new friends. The graphics are nice and clean. She plays it a little at a time and loves it.

This game is a little simple, but it's fun. Easy to play and no stress!

new leaf has a lot of the same aspects as the original animal crossing but has added a lot of cool new features that weren't available before. gameplay is very similar in the sense that you don't have to get reacquainted with the workings of controls, etc. if you played the original game, but is also simple so newcomers can easily learn and enjoy the classic game.

Finally gave in and upgraded to the 3ds and bought this game because I've played all the other versions and I just got to say.... one of the best versions of animal crossing I've ever played!!!
