Customers love the HD 560S Wired Open Aire Over-the-Ear Audiophile Headphones for their exceptional sound quality and comfortable design, making them suitable for extended listening. Many appreciate the lightweight feel and secure fit. However, some find the bass lacking and the cable length excessive, while others experience discomfort due to the clamping force.

I was looking to purchase a pair of high quality wired headphones for my mixer/gaming station, but I was skeptical about spending several hundred for the super hi-fi headphones like Sony or Senheiser makes. I came across these entry level headphones on sale, and decided to give them a try.
I was initially a little disappointed that they felt a little cheap - with plastic parts and felt ear cups. However, once I started listening to music or playing games with these, I was immediately impressed. The sound feels like it comes from all around you, and there is a nice balance of bass (maybe not the most for some people who like it really heavy) that blends really well with the rest of the music. They were also great for gaming and let me hear footsteps and sounds that I didn't hear with even my other Bose headphones.
After gaming and listening for several hours, I was surprised at how I almost forgot I was wearing them. The cheap feel that I initially thought, turned into extreme comfort over extended periods. The felt-like ear cups also didn't get hot and the headband did not dig into my head like some other headphones. It's obvious that the plastic material was a decision based on weight and comfort, and is in fact quite durable. They are not built to be sound cancelling, nor do they block all outside sound, but this adds to the comfort and longevity for use - I find that noise cancelling makes me sick and I don't like walking away from listening to headphones with my ears ringing from headphones that don't have a balance between outside/inside sounds.
Overall, I Highly recommend these based on the overall sound quality and comfort. My only drawback is that there is not a replaceable/detachable cord.

I am primarily interested in the clarity of the directional sound that these have for gaming purposes and they clearly and accurately reproduce footsteps or projectile movement/impact. Great for gaming. Musically they are pretty nice as well. Some finer details that get lost in cheaper headsets are noticeable on this pair. I also got a phenomenal price open box.

Best entry point to wired audiophile headphones. Comfy light and don't leak that much. Tuned perfectly but don't have as much punch as I wanted so I got the momentum 4s. A steal if you can get them on sale

These headphones are expensive, that's obvious, but they're certainly worth it. I've owned these for almost a year now and have had no problems with them. They sound amazing and make it easier to hear all the details in my music. I'd recommend these to anyone who is looking for high quality premium headphones.

I bought these to use with a surround sound DAC. I do both gaming and videos. I decided to ditch the combined mic and headsets and use these with a desk mic. The directional sound result and the sound quality with the HD560S was splendid.

i use to be only a noise canceling, closed back type of headphone user for gaming.
i’ve never tried open back but my god i’d never go back now. the comfortability is amazing.
i don’t even notice they’re on my head.
don’t fall for “gaming” branded headsets.
i was in search for a headset that would fit my entire ear and not scrunch them in, these are them. you won’t be disappointed if you’re wanting something that doesn’t make your head feel like you’re underwater.

Gaming, music at home or out and about you can't do much better than these. There is a reason these are very popular. Plastic build so you have to take care of them but very light weight and comfortable. And of course they sound great.

Ive been through plenty of headphones i. The search of the “one”. I recently upgraded to a UA Volt 1 audio interface and not longer had the necessity for wireless heaphones. The headset i had before this was the Arctis Nova Pro wireless. A great headset as it should be for the price. These, although do lack in the bass department, feel great on head. They lack the low end of other options but man are they comfortable. I get little to jo head fatigue while wearing these for hours on end. The openback nature of the headset also makes it a bit easier on the ears. Ive had plenty of headphones in the past and have experimented with all brands but i do really love these. If your on pc (which i assume you are) a mild EQ brings these to life. Steel series sonar software is a great way to tune these to your liking. Overall great headphones for the money and unbelievably comfortable. If youre looking for a bassy headphone look elsewhere. Otherwise, these are a great option.

These were my first foray into audiophile headphones and I decided to go for a decent pair of open-backs. Really love these headphones, lightweight, comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and the sound quality is great, I can distinguish layers in my favorite music that I didn't notice before.

I use these headphones every day. I use them for playing games, this is one of the best pairs of headphones I have ever had when it comes to surround sound and sound clarity. If not THE best. The quality is out of this world. I play siege and cod and any FPS you can think of as well as story based and cinematic games. Blows every headset I have ever gotten out of the water. Including my astro a-40s and 50s. hyper x cloud II's and the Logitech G pro x2 lightspeed. There is no built in mic, but I just use a stand mic.

Crisp, Smooth, Deep Sounds and Comfortable Design

I'm a casual listener and needed over-the-ear headphones for watching movies on my monitor with my Blu-ray player. This is my first product from Sennheiser and the sounds are crisp, smooth, and deep. It feels like a live performance, a very close-feeling audio experience. For example, rather than just hearing one sound and then the next isolated, you get both sounds together seamlessly. Since they are open headphones, they are not noise-cancelling, but the Velour cushions create some enclosure and detachment from your surroundings. The Velour is also very comfortable and they do not hurt your head, even after a long movie marathon. The wire can be tricky sometimes. If you don't plug it in and rotate it correctly, you may get sound coming from one ear over another. When it connects, it is very rewarding to hear.
I would recommend these headphones to casual and avid audiophiles, for movies, music, and gaming too.

These are truly the best headphones I have ever owned. I have gone through dozens of pairs of headphones in my life and nothing has every come to comparison to the HD 560S. I was very surprised to be hearing instruments in such clarity and direction due to its sound stage. I can hear even hear each breath of all voices in a song! When it comes to movie watching - due to COVID, I've been watching many virtual films online and these headphones literally create the 5.1 surround surround experience because of the sound stage as well! These headphones aren't intense with bass, which I enjoy because I can also focus on the other instruments the bass sadly overpowers in other headphones! If you enjoy "blow you out of this world" bass, these headphones likely aren't for you, but I'm at this point where I will be incredibly sad if these headphones ever leave me! Especially at only a $200 price point for the professionalism it brings! S t u n n i n g.

These headphones are hands down the best sounding headphones I have ever owned. I am primarily using them to game and listen to music on my desktop. I paired them with my Creative SoundBlasterX G6 DAC. Sound is crisp, they do have good bass, I know they are monitor studio quality headphones and are supposed to have a neutral sound however these headphones are very dynamic. Definitely recommended these for Gaming and high quality lossless audio.

Fantastic headphones. Only thing I can be nitpicky about is the lack of a port to replace the cable in case of unforseen damage. Otherwise great quality, feels great on the head, and a very affordable price for the quality.

One of the best tuned headphones ive ever heard. Would prefer if it had a bit more bass, but timbre is spot on amd treble is bright without being fatiguing. Having heard much more expensive planars from audeze, focal, and hifiman, this right here is where id mark the point of diminishing returns.

Great set of headphones. Perfect match to my DAC/Headphone amp. Good bass, excellent mids and highs. Comfortable to wear for extended periods. My second pair of Sennheiser headphones and they never disappoint. I have several quality headphones from Beyer Dynamic, Yamaha, Meze, Sony, etc. and you just can't go wrong with Sennheiser HD 5xx series.
