Customers are delighted by the HD 560S Wired Open Aire Over-the-Ear Audiophile Headphones' sound quality and comfort, making them suitable for long listening sessions. The lightweight design and good fit also contribute to a positive user experience, with some finding them great for gaming. However, some customers have noted that the bass may not be emphasized enough for some listeners, and the cable length may be excessive.

i use to be only a noise canceling, closed back type of headphone user for gaming.
i’ve never tried open back but my god i’d never go back now. the comfortability is amazing.
i don’t even notice they’re on my head.
don’t fall for “gaming” branded headsets.
i was in search for a headset that would fit my entire ear and not scrunch them in, these are them. you won’t be disappointed if you’re wanting something that doesn’t make your head feel like you’re underwater.

These were my first foray into audiophile headphones and I decided to go for a decent pair of open-backs. Really love these headphones, lightweight, comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and the sound quality is great, I can distinguish layers in my favorite music that I didn't notice before.

I'm a casual listener and needed over-the-ear headphones for watching movies on my monitor with my Blu-ray player. This is my first product from Sennheiser and the sounds are crisp, smooth, and deep. It feels like a live performance, a very close-feeling audio experience. For example, rather than just hearing one sound and then the next isolated, you get both sounds together seamlessly. Since they are open headphones, they are not noise-cancelling, but the Velour cushions create some enclosure and detachment from your surroundings. The Velour is also very comfortable and they do not hurt your head, even after a long movie marathon. The wire can be tricky sometimes. If you don't plug it in and rotate it correctly, you may get sound coming from one ear over another. When it connects, it is very rewarding to hear.
I would recommend these headphones to casual and avid audiophiles, for movies, music, and gaming too.

They are comfortable and work well for listening to music. I use this with the HD 500 microphone cable to use the headphones as a wired headset for Discord and in game voice chat.

These are truly the best headphones I have ever owned. I have gone through dozens of pairs of headphones in my life and nothing has every come to comparison to the HD 560S. I was very surprised to be hearing instruments in such clarity and direction due to its sound stage. I can hear even hear each breath of all voices in a song! When it comes to movie watching - due to COVID, I've been watching many virtual films online and these headphones literally create the 5.1 surround surround experience because of the sound stage as well! These headphones aren't intense with bass, which I enjoy because I can also focus on the other instruments the bass sadly overpowers in other headphones! If you enjoy "blow you out of this world" bass, these headphones likely aren't for you, but I'm at this point where I will be incredibly sad if these headphones ever leave me! Especially at only a $200 price point for the professionalism it brings! S t u n n i n g.

I am primarily interested in the clarity of the directional sound that these have for gaming purposes and they clearly and accurately reproduce footsteps or projectile movement/impact. Great for gaming. Musically they are pretty nice as well. Some finer details that get lost in cheaper headsets are noticeable on this pair. I also got a phenomenal price open box.

Great sound, comfortable for long listening sessions, overall worth the money and extremely happy. I've been a long time Sennheiser user and their products NEVER disappoint. If you're thinking about getting this, don't think anymore and just get it!

I bought these to use with a surround sound DAC. I do both gaming and videos. I decided to ditch the combined mic and headsets and use these with a desk mic. The directional sound result and the sound quality with the HD560S was splendid.

I use these headphones every day. I use them for playing games, this is one of the best pairs of headphones I have ever had when it comes to surround sound and sound clarity. If not THE best. The quality is out of this world. I play siege and cod and any FPS you can think of as well as story based and cinematic games. Blows every headset I have ever gotten out of the water. Including my astro a-40s and 50s. hyper x cloud II's and the Logitech G pro x2 lightspeed. There is no built in mic, but I just use a stand mic.

So Ive always used "gaming" headphones throughout the years. And these headphones absolutely blow them all away, I'm coming from astro a50s. These have much better clarity and sound quality while being cheaper as well. I'm thoroughly impressed. the bass is a little lacking, but the treble on these are amazing music sounds much better now. They're comfortable and don't hurt after long periods of wearing and I have quite the big head, they don't weigh much at all either. I will stick with Sennheiser from now on.

Very nice, good sound quality but maybe not everything I expected. Returned and bought some B&Ws.tho admittedly they were about $50 more…. Also - wasn’t really about the fabric ear pieces vs synthetic leather…

Great set of headphones. Perfect match to my DAC/Headphone amp. Good bass, excellent mids and highs. Comfortable to wear for extended periods. My second pair of Sennheiser headphones and they never disappoint. I have several quality headphones from Beyer Dynamic, Yamaha, Meze, Sony, etc. and you just can't go wrong with Sennheiser HD 5xx series.

Fantastic headphones. Only thing I can be nitpicky about is the lack of a port to replace the cable in case of unforseen damage. Otherwise great quality, feels great on the head, and a very affordable price for the quality.

I was in the market looking for studio headphone and thanks to the help from a Best Buy employee I was able to find some that are amazing! I am someone who loves playing video games and love to upgrade my setup to create the best set possible experience. The Senheiser-HD 560S are PERFECT from online gaming.
One thing to keep in mind it took a couple days to break in the new headphones but after that the fit perfect and feel amazing after hours of gaming!
I highly recommend these if you're looking for a new pair of studio headphones or looking to upgrade!

If you are looking for a nice sounding and comfortable headphones at a great price then this is it. The build quality is okay and feel cheap, but it definitely makes it up with the rich sound and superb comfortability, these are the best comfortable headphones I have ever own and I have own several, these at easy better than my V-Modas that cost more. I used them for music production and for gaming and it works great on both environments, specially when you pair it with an Audio Interface like Focusrite or Apollo Twin

I got these to play lossless audio through my computer and they are fantastic! I'm shocked at how detailed and lively the sound is for the price. I'm comparing to more expensive noise canceling over-ear headphones, which I no longer want to use.
I listen to a wide variety of music including rock, metal, hip hop, blues and they all sound great. Bass is a bit soft compared to some popular brands but the detail allows me to pick out different drums that get muddled in other sets. Overall response is consistent with a bit of a spike at the top end of the treble range but not harsh.
My only wish is that I had bought these earlier!
