Ive always loved this anime and im glad i finally get to own it for myself, and have it in my collection. If you havent seen the anime before anyone should watch it once. its weird it have alot of different kind of things going on it. If your into a girl who gets obessesed with being connected to the wired (internet) who ends up learning there is another side to her she didnt know exsisted, and trying to figure reality from the wired. youll enjoy the oddness it has to offer.

Lain, you've come a long way. I still remember when my friend picked up the very first VHS release of this series - what a psychotropic trip it was. I truly love shows like this, with so much depth that it can keep its fans talking and analyzing even years (or in this case, over a decade) later. In addition to the show itself, the HD restoration is pretty much all I could ask for (with only a few minor PQ nitpicks, mostly noticeable in the earlier episodes), and the included limited edition packaging and 300-something-page booklet really push the value of this release into the stratosphere. If you're an anime fan, and especially if you're a Lain fan, you owe it to yourself to have this set in your collection!
