Just re-watched this thriller with our teenage children. It had been long enough that neither my wife nor I had a clear memory of the film so it was quite suspenseful for everyone. Some of the scenes were filmed in very low light so you really need to pay attention to catch some of the important details even when watched in a dark room on a plasma. We have found that given enough time between viewings, an old movie can seem new again.

Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt & Kevin Spacey star in one of the most suspensefully twisted films ever made. Murders illustrating the 7 Deadly Sins are investigated by a pair of detectives; one on the cusp of retirement, the other a rising star in the force. Together they peel back the layers and catch the perpetrator...what comes next, chills me to the bone to this day.

A seasoned homicide detective and his new partner are on a desperate hunt for a serial killer whose gruesome crimes are based on the Seven Deadly Sins: greed, gluttony, sloth, lust, pride, envy and wrath. What more could you ask for in a movie?!

One of the best movies of all time IMO. The acting, story, cinematography, and music are all too notch! The blu-ray transfer is really good as well. Hope they make a 4k version of more David Fincher movies though soon.

This is a somewhat grim and gruesome film. However, the film has excellent acting, a very good script and directing. Some surprises (especially toward the end of the film) and the investigative process is interesting. I highly recommend the film. It is an adult film and certainly not for small children.

When I saw this in the store, I had to buy it. Not only is this one of Brad Pitt's best movies, it's one of the best movies of the last twenty years. The high definition is superb. It looks like it could have been filmed last year. There's also a good amount of extras including multiple commentaries and alternate endings. A must buy for movie lovers.

Ive always been a big fan of David Fincher ever since I watched Fight Club, His style of cinematography is very unique and SEVEN is no exception. Pitt and Freeman have great chemistry in this bone chilling thriller. I was not expecting the crazy killer to be... well I wont ruin it if you have not seen it yet. I highly recommend it!

They’ve done a great job on the transfer. I was amazed how clear the picture was. There are virtually no artifacts. And the movies is of course a classic. Stand out performance by Kevin Spacey. Has also a high rewatch potential.

Se7en is a Must add, to the collection any cinephile into 90's noir. I was looking for a 4k Ultra version, but had to settle for this blu-ray copy, which I must say is solid in terms of sound, and picture quality. Wonderfully directed, great acting, atmospheric, with solid direction and suspense. Can't go wrong with a Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt team up.

I moved and had to dynasticly downsize and got rid of a lot my old DVD's and CDs. I was wanting to see Seven again and just had to get another copy, I was not disappointed it is a great movie in acting, story, and whole production. Even if I move again I'm keeping my new copy of Seven.

David Fincher, Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman kill it in this movie. A great story that unravels in a masterful way. Not for the faint of heart, but besides that I’d totally recommend it to any movie fan.

I have loved Se7en ever since I saw it. David Fincher truly knows how to tell extremely interesting stories, and this is one of them. Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman give amazing performances as they're surrounded by a world they're trying to understand. The Bluray had lots of extras and looks fantastic.

Finally was able to watched this after hearing how much The Batman took inspiration off of. Such a great film. Can never go wrong with David Fincher.

The ending sequence, more specifically the events therein, took me by surprise. Multiple genres were combined to stunning effect in "Seven". Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman were perfectly cast, and their collaborations were beautifully captured by master director David Fincher.

I've been looking for this movie on DVD and couldn't seem to find it anywhere locally until I found the last copy that my Best Buy store had! They had been selling it frequently as well so I guess I wasn't the only one looking for it! I was very lucky to find one!! High five to Best Buy!

The purchase was completed on line and took just a minute. I was notified when it was shipped. Then it arrived a short time later. About as painless as a process there is. WENT SMOOTHLY!!

Se7en on Blu-ray was excellent but hard to watch at times. The acting was really good and one hell of a twist at the end that I didn't see coming.

Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman are two great actors and they both shine in this film. The look and feel of the movie keeps you invested with the characters. The mystery of who is the killer keeps you involved in the film and the shocking ending leaves you talking about it for days.

This movie is one of the most harrowing and bleak stories put on film and has so many twists and turns it will have you on the edge of your seat throughout. Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman excel, as does Gwyneth Paltrow and Kevin Spacey, who is haunting in his portrayal of John Doe.

Not sure what to say about this film that hasn't already been said. If you haven't seen it then you're missing out on one of the most influential films of the 90's. This one sticks with you, and you'll find yourself going back again and again. Highly recommended!
