This game is great. I picked it up after I learned it was on clearance for 8.99 (7.19 after GCU) and I after I read a few quick reviews of it. I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. Not only is it a massively long campaign for a rail shooter (12-20 hours!), but the dialogue is tongue-in-cheek, cheesy 80's type humor. It's got a great amount of gore, and while the graphics aren't the best, it's fast paced and is just a fun ride.

This is a pretty decent game, cheesiness aside. Pretty long campaign that presents a pretty crazy tale. A solid FPS game that encourages you to use a sword since it is more satisfying/addicting than using the projectile weapons.

I haven’t played the old Shadow Warrior game but this is a solid purchase for the PS4, defiantly worth buying and beating, especially for $20! The game is longer than I expected as there are 16 chapters... some of the levels are actually pretty long and there are many secrets/hidden areas and Easter eggs to discover. Aside from the main campaign/story, there is also a waved based 'survival’ mode. This game has funny commentary, good voice acting, sweet weapons, lots of action, nice gore/blood, and surprisingly good graphics! I would easily pick this over Evolve, The order 1886 or many others. Don't believe the AAA hype, games like this usually miss the radar but are pretty good and very underrated.

When the original game was released in 1997, it took the PC community by storm. Known for its crude jokes and extreme violence (yes this game is not for kids), it soon became a favorite title among gamers. This game was released on PC last year and now it has finally reached console! The controls work well and the game is very entertaining and nice to look at. Get this game if you like... 1. Destroying your enemies using a samurai sword. 2. Chopping off your enemies limbs with a samurai sword and watching them die a painful death. 3. Enjoy cheesy jokes exchanged between characters of the game and with Lo Wang himself. 4. Using mystic powers combined with your samurai sword to eviscerate enemies with ease.

Got this game for a great deal. Definitely worth a play thru.

The update of a mid 90's FPS classic, Shadow Warrior does not disappoint. While fans of more modern shooters may find a lot of anachronisms, Shadow Warrior is a nice break from the gritty "realism" of those games, with their muted brown color palettes. Think an Asian-inspired Serious Sam, and you're on the right track.

With this game being a single player experience only, there is no replay valure except to go achievement hunting. Good humor is everywhere in this game ..... if you are looking for a FPS game other than the normal COD & Battlefield then this will be a very enjoyable game!!!

I bought this game because they had it in the store for $7.99 but I wouldn't pay much more than that. It's a first person game but it seems very low budget and just overall not very interesting to me

Throw back to some of the older shooters (because it is), it's still a lot of fun. The graphics are adequate as well as the sound, but it's the action that keeps you playing.

Great: Impressive efforts with a few noticeable issues holding it back. Not everyone will like it, but is worth your time if you are FPS fan looking for Something a bit different, but FUN! . The Plot: Lo Wang is a bodyguard for Zilla Enterprises, which has control over every major industry in Japan. However, this has led to corruption. Master Zilla, the president of the Zilla Enterprise, is planning to conquer Japan using creatures from the "dark side". When he discovers this, Lo Wang quit his job as a bodyguard. Master Zilla realizes the threat that Lo Wang poses and sends his creatures to battle him.

There are some great powers to unlock and the overall game is fun to play,but some of the levels don't guide you well enough to know what to do next leaving you lost for a while until you find out on your own.

Shadow Warriors is a remake of of a classic that was released in 1997. If you are familiar with 3D Realms you should really enjoy this game. Shadow Warrior is a FPS that doesn't really take itself seriously. It has a fun and comedic style of story. The really fun element of the game play revolves around using the sword in first person. You can slice and dice your enemies which is a blast. If you like a single player focused story you may enjoy this one.

A return to the time when games could be bloody and funny, or just bloody funny. This is for people that loved the original Wolfenstein, Doom, Blood, and Hexen.

It's pretty fun running around with a sword and dismember ingredients everything you see. Also lots of little easter eggs to throw back to the original game

Maybe that is the charm of this title. I just didn't edpect so much gratuitous corniness and vulgarity. Great gameplay, and overall very fun.

I've never heard of this game until I seen it on sale. I decided to purchase it and was shocked that this went under my radar. It's not a great game that will win awards but it's a fun game with a worthwhile campaign experience. Great story, great main character, and the comedic tone is awesome.

Really enjoyable throwback to the corny 80's action games. Lot of humorous dialog and limb chopping. Definitely recommend

As a collector of Xbox One games, I jumped at the chance to pick up this gem at a great price. Best Buy comes through again!!!

Shadow Warrior’s excellent fast-paced swordplay and surprising story make Lo Wang’s comeback tour a great success.

A great old school fast pace FPS. The only drawback is that power combinations get tedious and are a bit too complex.
