Customers admire the Detect Pro's powerful suction, lightweight design, and convenient auto-empty feature, finding it easy to use and effective on various floor types. However, some users experienced shorter-than-expected battery life and occasional clogging issues. The self-cleaning aspect and dirt detection technology were also frequently praised.

Glad I purchased this vacuum for our new home. Picks up debri sufficiently around corners and furniture. Detects when there is more debri and automatically increases power to get the job done. It is fairly quiet overall. The lightweight design and swiveling head makes maneuvering a breeze. The self-emptying bin is definitely a plus decreasing the times you have to empty the actual bin on the handheld portion. But do be aware, the self-emptying bin can be a little noisy. Otherwise, a nicely designed vacuum and a great buy!

Positives: Lightweight, auto empty is a very nice feature, easy to maneuver, reasonably quiet.
Negatives: Short battery life, weak on suction. Can't even pick up a small paper clip off the floor in boost mode. No holder on the base for the other included attachment. No holder for the crevice tool on the vacuum itself.
If you're vacuuming an area around 1000-1200 sqft for light duty then it's fine for that.
Price point at $399 is still little high.

I love how light weight this vacuum is and I also like how you can detach it. The portability of this vacuum doesn't strain my arm.
Fun fact, you can just use the vacuum itself to seal Storage bags!! The auto empty system is pretty neat, not having to deal with the dust and dirt while trying to empty it.
Cons:
It does tend to have a short battery life even though its always charged. I hope they can fix that.

I recently purchased the Shark - Detect Pro Auto-Empty System, Cordless Vacuum and I am extremely impressed with its performance. This vacuum is a game-changer when it comes to cleaning convenience and efficiency.
One of the standout features of this vacuum is the auto-empty system. It eliminates the hassle of manually emptying the dustbin after each use. The vacuum automatically empties its contents into a bagless, self-emptying base, making maintenance a breeze.
The QuadClean Multi-Surface Brushroll is another highlight of this vacuum. It effectively picks up dirt, debris, and pet hair from various surfaces, including carpets, hardwood floors, and tiles. The brushroll's powerful suction ensures a thorough and deep clean, leaving no trace of dirt behind.
The HEPA filter is a great addition to this vacuum, as it captures allergens and fine dust particles, promoting cleaner air quality in the home. This is especially beneficial for those with allergies or respiratory sensitivities.
Another advantage of the Shark - Detect Pro is its impressive 60-minute runtime. The long battery life allows for extended cleaning sessions without the need for frequent recharging. This is particularly useful for larger homes or those with multiple floors.
The white and beats brass color combination gives the vacuum a sleek and modern look that blends well with any decor.
Overall, I highly recommend the Shark - Detect Pro Auto-Empty System, Cordless Vacuum. Its auto-empty feature, powerful brushroll, HEPA filter, and long runtime make it a top-notch cleaning companion. Say goodbye to the hassle of manual emptying and enjoy a cleaner home effortlessly.

The vacuum is wonderful. The suction along with the edge detect makes the cleaning experience great. When on carpet the suction becomes stronger. The only downfall to the the vacuum is placement for the attachments, there is not any place to keep the attachments stored. My absolute favorite is the self-cleaning when vacuuming is complete.

After spending big money on the other brands, I did want to give the other brands a go. aia did countless marketing videos and reviews before landing here. Off the back, very easy to assemble and instructions are on the box which is very convenient.
Suction power is pretty good. Ive used on carpet, wood, tile and my car and all areas look good. Still getting used to the 3 settings however i do really enjoy not pulling a trigger like the more expansive brands have. I am also still working out the trash can however also very convenient until its time to empty. When i'm near a trash can i just dump it then but if not, the trash compactor is pretty neat.
Overall - this product I recommend to anyone in the market for a new vacuum. very light weight, i am now teaching my 4 year olds how to vacuum which is great. Has two down falls and thats the lack of additional attachments and that the motor head will lock in the "parked" position so depending on how you vacuum, you may find yourself tapping the motor head out of the park position several times to vacuum again. For those over 35 they will understand what it means to push the head down with your foot to get started.

This is a nice light stick vacuum. The drawbacks are battery life and suction on Berber carpets. I like the fact that it is self emptying and I don't have to have the hassle of emptying the vacuum itself.

Light weight and powerful.
Ease of use with the auto empty at the docking station, i love that feature. You do need to dock it to empty it often but it's ready again in minutes. Also easy to clear when something too big is sucked up.

Pretty great value when compared to the more expensive Dyson alternatives. Shark is slowly becoming my choice for Dyson competitors. Good quality, charge could last a little bit longer but as expected with a battery powered vacuum. The auto empty feature is the main attraction here, makes cleaning effortless.

Easy to assemble and use. cleans well and good battery life. The "Detect" seems to need some work. Revs up sometimes without a change in the amount of dirt. The auto empty system is really nice. Liked it so much I talked my 83 year old mom into getting one too.

The Shark Detect Pro Auto-Empty System Cordless Vacuum is a game-changer in the world of cleaning appliances. Its powerful suction and advanced features, including the self-emptying capability, make it a standout choice. The vacuum's intelligent sensor technology easily detects and adjusts to different floor surfaces, ensuring thorough cleaning. The cordless design offers convenience, i really like the self cleaning and automatic charging on the station because you dont even notice that the battery life is extended for longer cleaning sessions. Despite this, the Detect Pro impresses with its efficiency and ease of use, making it a solid investment for hassle-free cleaning.

Pro: great suction on hard surfaces, self empty is a great feature
Cons: leaves piles of pet hair on carpet when moving vacuum backwards, I bought This one year ago. The battery doesn’t even last 5 minutes now. So for that reason the cons most definitely out way the pros of this vacuum. It’s $380 cheaper a year later. Shark should send out an extra battery for every person that wasted their money on this vacuum.

Biggest complaint is that the battery dies quickly. The suction works best on the highest setting which will drain the battery more. The base is very handy and does a good job at clearing out the dirt. It can also hold a lot so it doesn’t need to be emptied often. Wouldn’t purchase for full price but a great choice if you can get it on sale.

6 months down the road with this product, works great allround for price. Battery life could be short if cleaning large areas around house in one time but overall works great with all types of debris but not large ones since it will clogged the tube to vacuum. Also battery life still maintaining after 6 months, haven't seen a decline in performance. Great buy.
