A few of my gripes about my old vacuum was all solved when I bought this (cord, suction). I have 4 bd older house and a 1 year old son (so I use this allot). I like the cord length, the bag less design, it's sealed system (hepa), the accessories (mainly use extension, edge tool, and brush), the suction is great! I also like that the vacuum has the ability to have the brush off with suction on. I have some hard wood/tile, the shark does great at sucking up Cheerios without the brush on which is great! I highly recommend you will not be disappointed! It will shock you first time you use at how strong it is, it may pull you across the room! :). I have a feeling the dyson is probably better at suction on the edges which is the 1 thing I feel is a bit lacking on this system, but it may just be me.... I read many reviews on this and many people that are professional cleaners seem to use this as a back up to their dyson and say they don't noticed much of a difference. I have used a dyson cordless and love it but hard to justify the cost. This is a great all around everyday every use vacuum! Just buy one and stop looking already!

I bought this vacuum from a Consumer Reports review and recommendation. I have owned one since July of 2012. It is very powerful, easy to use and maneuver, lightweight and easy to clean. I own a long haired cat and 3 dogs that all shed a whole lot. The cat lives indoor and the dogs outdoor but they have to be transported to the vet. This vacuum is awesome for cleaning pet hair. It also can clean a bare floor better than a broom. I wanted a Dyson and have never regretted my purchase. As a matter of fact, this is my 2nd one only because I accidently ran it over after vacuuming my car. It works better than the vacuums at the car wash. It has a great warranty and after 5 years if I need to replace, I can do so for under $200

I would rate this a 4.8 out of 5. My only wish is that the wood floor vacuum conversion was on wheels rather than having to carry the top part of the vacuum but I love that it offers that feature and it is not heavy to carry. I love that this vacuum is lightweight (easy on those who have bad backs), love the adjustable suction for difficult to vacuum rugs, it takes a little getting use to the small width-but it does offer some benefits, it fits well between table chair legs, also depending on your couch style it fits under the edges of mine. Compared to my last vacuum it is very quiet.

Wonderful vacuum for the price point. Cannot beat the features and power without spending tons more on a super expensive brand. The attachments are wonderful and simplify the cleaning process, speeding up my cleaning routine. The bare floor cleaning attachment with the cleaning microfiber cloth works awesome! Isn't too heavy to carry or move around. Vacuum picks up cat hair on the first pass with ease!

I really do like this vacuum out of the many, many I've had over the years. We've only had it about a month, so hopefully it lasts, but I've had Sharks in the past and generally the suction holds out. I really wanted something, now that we have hardwoods and rugs, to replace our swiffers. They were getting too expensive and rarely made it through the house. This thing has a long cord, so if we plug it in the middle we get reach pretty much everything. It really does a good job of picking up the fine particles on the floor. The vacuum itself is a little rough on our rugs (the beater bar). The pet tool is great. We don't have inside animals, but it's great to clean the furniture.

Great suction and very easy to empty/clean. Does an amazing job with pet hair. Love the navigating feature which makes it easy to use. The lift-away is nice too. Only wish is that it had a retractable cord.

With downsizing from a whole-house vacuum to a 2 bedroom apartment, we needed a petite, but powerful vacuum. This filled the bill, it was affordable, durable, turned easily, and care is easy. The foam filter needs a light washing after 10 or more uses. The canister easily detaches to go up our carpeted stairs; and it is also easy to empty the canister. It was a bit heavier than I thought, but it does everything I need, so it's not that major a negative in that case. I would highly recommend this product.

It is a very nice vaccum for the price you pay. We have a Dyson as well and the Shark out performs it. The only thing we do not like about it is the foot. You can not adjust the foot to the length of carpet. Our carpet in the house is thick and deep and you get quite the workout sweeping it. Opening the relief up does help some but there is still quite a bit of drag. Overall though I would recommend it to friends and family. Why Pay 500.00 When you can get the same if not better performance for 200.00?

I brought this for my mother.It is light weight and easy former to use.She does not have to change bags and it does not loose suction.

So I'm OK with the quality of the cleaning. I give it an A+. The swivel head doesn't seem to be that great as I try to steer from hard floors to up on carpet and the swivel head makes me have to really rotate the handle a lot before it will make the jump. I really don't see much benefit to having it swivel that much. Maybe if you have arthritis in your hands or wrist it makes it easier. I actually had the model before that worked just as good. I thought the previous model was easier to empty (only 1 button to disconnect the dirt chamber instead of 2) I have used the very expensive Dyson and doesn't seem to be worth the cost for the same quality. I really miss the Kenmore I had with the dirt sensor, but the newer versions don't really have the same quality as they once did. The Shark is still the best value and my next machines will always be a Shark.

I got the vacuum for a replacement of a very old tired vacuum. The dirt the navigator picked up from my rugs was almost disturbing. So much dirt, and canister filled and emptied many times. It is very easily maneuverable and gets in spaces my big clunky vacuum could not. Attachments are a huge help, as well as the lift away feature for those really hard to reach areas. Very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommended!!!

Bought this for my wife to use primarily. She says it works great on all floor surfaces and especially likes it's ease of use on stairs. We have pets so it needed to work well on pet hair. Does a great job of this. She loves it.

So far this is the best vacuum that I have purchased either for my home or the business that I am in. I would reccomend this vacuum to whoever for whatever their needs are. Great suction power, leaves your carpet/floor looking like it has been cleaned. Cleans like or just as well as those 4 or 5 hundred dollar machines hands down. Like I said earlier the only downfall is the small cleaning path as it could be 3 to 4 inches wider.

Dyson has nothing on this vacuum. So far, so good! The suction is superb and the entire vacuum is very light. Easy for kids to help clean the house too! Love it!

I am very happy with this vacuum. The attachments are good but I do not use them a lot. The head is a little small so you have to go over the area a couple times unlike my Oreck but the price alone makes it well worth the time. The cord is a little short for my purposes --I just don't want to stop to relocate=laziness on my part : ) but I am sure it is long enough for most.

I use it everyday. She perfoms great; couldn't be more satisfied. The hose and attachments really come in handy. The head moves easily.

Very happy with this vacuum. It's a good size for storage and does a good job.

this sweeper is great for the money lots of sucking power to cleanup your worse messes and it is completely sealed so wont stir up dust great product this is my second one. I still have the first one just upgraded to newer model love them both
