This thing does a great job, but as others mentioned, the battery life isn't that great. I knew that going into buying this. There are more expensive models with better battery life, but this works well enough for small jobs. If you need longer battery life you may want to use an actual vacuum cleaner for the job. Other than the battery life, depending on what you're cleaning, you may have to empty multiple times before job completion.

I'm glad I bought it. Performs very well and is very easy to use and lightweight.

My wife and I had been impressed with a different Shark product so we decided to try their portable vacuum as well. It did a good job cleaning the stairs. However, on our first try the battery did not last long enough to clean out our mini van, which is why we bought it in the first place. I will try to clean the van again, but I have my doubts about the how long the battery will last.

The battery on the first unit went out after 5+ years of use. Replaced with same brand, hope will last as long as first. New model has more suction and runs longer as a result of a more powerful battery, otherwise looks and feels same. New charging system shuts down and turns of green LED when battery fully charged making it uncertain if unit properly plugged in or charging completed.

I got this because it was small and cordless, to get to car shows, it is great for taking on trips

We bought this vacuum to go places where our upright would not or be too cumbersome or dangerous to get to. It works great in the vehicles and has become a integral part of our cleaning regiment. I just wish the bags were easier to find.

This is a great little vac for quick & easy cleanup. Battery life is great & it's easy to clean. This is the third one I bought. Keep one upstaires, main floor & basement. Also is well made, can stand to be dropped without any breakage. Happy with this purchase!

This portable vacuum is very powerful and it holds its charge for a long time. I am very pleased with it!

My wife has been looking for a portable vacuum sweeper as powerful as the one she had in Egypt and this on is. Like I said "if mamma's happy we're all happy."

Make sure to charge it for X hours for the first use. I don't remember the exact time but says it in the manual. It will die within a minute of using if not.

A year ago I bought a Dirt Devil, as this is a brand I've always stood by. It lasted only a year. I read a recommendation online for Shark by Consumer Reports, who rated it quite well. I decided to try it. I am so impressed. I love the power it has for a hand vacuum. I recommend it.

Great for vacuuming dog hair from furniture, and car seats. The rotary device works very well. Does a nice job.

We mainly purchased this product to keep our stairs clean. We have 4 cats and cat fur collects on the stairs frequently. It keeps it's charge long enough to do the 17 stairs that we have plus some additional cleaning before the battery goes out. I feel that it is a good product for the money. It cleans and picksup well. It easy to use,light weight and the dust bag is easy to remove and empty. I would recommend this product to friends and family.

Overall the vacuum is a great buy. It has great suction power, easy to clean , battery charge last a long time between uses. Best portable vacuum purchase yet.

Has been very helpful and gets the pets mess cleaned up quick. And it sucks

for what i bought this product for it works great. I just use it to clean up here and there. It is made for getting up pet hair, but i don't have any pets so i cannot speak to that.
