Shark - Portable Vacuum Cleaner - Green

I purchased this vacuum solely to be used on the stairway but have had to use it as my main vacuum cleaner since my stand up one is being replaced by the company I purchased it from. I am very happy with this machine with its portability & the suction on this little machine is much better than I was hoping it would be. I definitely feel that this machine is well worth the money I spent & I would most certainly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a great portable vacuum cleaner. It is a very useful & very easy to vacuum cleaner to clean, and it is also very practical. Nice job Shark!

I bought this to easily clean up around my cat's litterbox in my small bathroom and for little clumps of hair she would leave behind when grooming herself. It's strong enough for a handheld vacuum but doesn't really pull up everything when just using the nozzle. The brush head attachment is much better for picking up more at a time. It's easy to use but not quite as "clean" when you're trying to empty out the reservoir, if you're picking up a lot of dirt or heavy particles that is. It works exactly as I need it to. It's awesome for spot cleaning and it's got a good handle. It's louder than I would have liked but it works as advertized.

Great little vacuum for small jobs and homes with toddlers. Easy to empty and put back together. Does not require bags. Attachments are sturdy and fit well, although I imagine they can be tough to apply and remove for elderly or children. The default attachment is just like a real vacuum with the spinning brush that picks sand and dirt well from carpet. The tube attachment works well for corners and hard surfaces. The battery lasts for a least 5 minutes of cleaning. The only bad thing about the vacuum is that once the battery depletes, you have to wait for it to charge a bit before using it again. The cord that comes with it is only good for charging. The vacuum cannot be powered by the outlet. But if you have a nagging wife, it's nice to be able to take a break from a spill and blame the vacuum because it has to charge first.

I bought to replace an older competitors hand vac, from the reviews I read on this Shark hand vac, I just had to try it. The Shark - Portable Vacuum Cleaner exceeded my expectations, It is very powerful and picks up cat and dog hair with ease. I love the attachments of the beater bar and the crevice tool which are both very effective. The charge lasts about 15 minutes and is used just about daily to clean up after 2 kids, 2 cats, and a dog. The beater bar attachment works great on our carpeted stairs in fully removing the pet hair. I would definitely recommend this Shark and I am so happy with my purchase.

After a complete charge of 16 hours the vacuum worked great - good suction and easy to use. The manual said to keep it unplugged to extend the life of the battery and only charge when needed. I found that after a couple of uses the battery was almost drained and then I had to charge it more before I could use it. This was a little disappointing - I think I would rather have a cord that was always ready to use instead of this cordless one.

Thus far I've only use it for quick clean ups in the house, and for using along the floor boards, and I love the way it gets into corners a full size vacuum cleaner couldn't. I don't need to dust pan as often because I just suck up the debris on the floor. Also get my dogs' hair out of the crevices of the sofas! The real test will be how well it cleans up the dog hair from my car's carpeting and seats.

I really like the cleaning capability for such a small dust buster. Unlike other dust busters, it has really good suction and I like the carpet fixture. I use it daily to keep things tidy and it is great to be able to do quick pickups around the house without dragging out the big vacuum every time. I have owned this for two months now and so far so good. I just ordered a second one so I can have one upstairs and one downstairs.

This thing does a great job, but as others mentioned, the battery life isn't that great. I knew that going into buying this. There are more expensive models with better battery life, but this works well enough for small jobs. If you need longer battery life you may want to use an actual vacuum cleaner for the job. Other than the battery life, depending on what you're cleaning, you may have to empty multiple times before job completion.
