My old microwave was also a Sharp and it lasted ten years. I've had no issues with it. The only things I'm not crazy about are the bright clock light and the dim heating light inside when cooking.

I also like this microwave because it fits perfectly in the space the original one was located.

The main thing i like about it is the space. The wattage cooks anything you need it too, though only 4 stars because it likes to cook on defrost.

It has a child proof lock the door won’t open unless you press zero but was disable safety feature other than that excellent microwave

One excellent feature is that it does NOT continuously beep at you when something is done. It beeps once and then shuts up.

Defrosted a slice of blueberry pie, it did defrost but the result was uneven, some portions were still icy while others were warm. Maybe it ws due to the uneven thickness of the slice. My previous Sharp microwave worked well for 20 years.

Very happy with this microwave for past two months

It works very well. We would recommend it to other buyers. It has some features that we prefer over our previous microwave. Prefer the larger rotating dish. Prefer the screen layout. We found two things that are worth mentioning. First, the microwave beeps when the heating finishes. It does not beep again if you fail to remove the heated item. It would be useful if it briefly beeped periodically until you opened the door to remind me that something is still in the microwave. Second, the button to open the door requires more force than we prefer. However, this could be a very good feature if you have small children/grandchildren to prevent them from opening the door. Overall we are very happy with this microwave. It has worked reliably and as expected for over two months.
