This is the same as the one that I had, that lasted for many years. I think the wattage might be a little bit higher than my old one. It does an excellent job!

Great at defrosting things without cooking them. And it is very easy to keep clean wipes off nicely.

I fine this one to be very quite when on. It warm food and drinks very fast. The menu is very easy to learn. I would recommend purchase.

A plastic part of the door open mechanism broke preventing the door from opening. I give a +5 to Sharp Service for replacing the unit with a newer model that runs quieter and uses their new Inverter technology. The old unit would trip our circuit breaker at least once or twice a month. The new unit has not done so to date. Looking at the Sharp website this model costs less than what I paid for this failed unit. I get a sense that Best Buy buys close out products and sells them with a large markup, press you to take out a Geek Squad Extended Warranty. It a predatory business model. Go buy you products elsewhere.

My last Sharp Carousel microwave lasted nearly 15 years! This machine is a huge upgrade in technology. I know it will last the next 15 years too!

I got this to replace an older version of this model that quit working after 8 years. This one doesn't heat up food as fast as the old one did when it was working.
