Picture is pretty good but built-in speakers are nearly useless and control button on back of set does nothing. I better never lose the remote.

This tv is better than expected. Every review I read about the newer tv's have said the sound is bad. I got this to replace the old box type tv. As soon as I turned it on? I had to immediately turn the volume down! It was already at the very low end of the volume spectrum. So volume is very good on this TV. Color seems on the dark side. But I prefer a more bright pic and I am using the red yellow and white AV cables. I am not so tech savy. Part of the reason I picked this TV was it was a rare one that still has the AV cables ALSO. I use it to watch Netflix and it works well. It does have a artificial odor. I hope this will go away. I am in a smallish room. It is also attractive. I have felt most of the new TV's are ugly. Look the same. I am samsung brand loyal. And am sad that they all look the same. I have a 2009 Samsung in my living room that is a work of art on the outside. The ones today are just a black plastic frame. This Sharp tv has a bit of an original look to it on the outside. I didn't realize this. It is attractive to the eyes. The menus are easy to navigate. I have fine motor problems and sometimes eye issues. I found them easy. No problems. None with the remote either. The stand is sturdy. That is also something I have read in reviews on the new TVs that is an issue; that the stands are not sturdy on many of them today. Even on the Samsung ones! Which was very upsetting to me. In the store I knocked on stands and they sounded cheap and like hollow plastic. This one is stronger seeming. And I also chose this TV because the legs of the stand are closer together which means it fits on my smaller shelf!

Got it "open-box certified" for around $100. Love the 1080p picture and very good sound! Has 3 HDMIs and a normal headphone jack, a real remote with all the useful buttons, a sensitive "over the air" TV tuner, and it turns on in just a few seconds because it's a good old "dumb" TV without any extra bells and whistles. No need to worry about future software updates or network connections or hacking because it's "dumb" as a TV should be.

I would never buy from best buy again there service and management is very poor when I bought my tv it was one day past the 14 th day when it went bad they would not replace it they did not even want to talk to me about it. that what you call poor service.

U was really pleased with the price then disillusioned with the nightmare of hooking it up with my Uverse cable box. The HDMI ports are entirely incompatible with my cable box and the component didn't want to work either. So I'm stuck using coax for my tv hookup. Not at all happy with this arrangement.

Tv keeps turning back on half hour to an hour after I turn it off.

The TV would not turn on. Could not determine whether the remote was at fault because I could find NO MANUAL CONTROLS on the set and no such controls were specified in the owner's manual.

First, you can't beat the price. The sound quality is good for the size, 32". Remote is user friendly. Because Sharp decided to "Go Green"..there's no manual.. not so great. The biggest downfall feature I think is that there is only a power/input button on the back of the TV. I know everyone will use a remote but there has to be times when you can't or maybe your batteries run out so then what? I will recommend this product but if not wanting to use a remote is what you're looking for but this TV is not for you.

I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but after using this TV as a laptop monitor and viewing TV programs, I must say that I made the right choice. I initially bought a Samsung Smart TV selling for $279.99 at Best Buy. It had excellent reviews and included a web browser. I bought this unit and hooked it up to my laptop using an HDMI cable. The picture was excellent and certainly works as a monitor. One of the reasons I selected this unit was it's web browsing capability. The TV hooked up easily to my WIFI and I proceeded to see what that web browser could do? Well, after numerous tests, it became apparent that the manner in which you initiated a browse was very awkward and user unfriendly. Using the remote along with the on screen keyboard actually became a chore. I quickly decided that the costs did not justify having the browsing capability. Although the picture was superb and the sound being fine, I decided to return the unit the next day. I will simply continue to use my laptop for browsing. After reading numerous reviews on the Sharp TV's which Best Buy also sells, and downloading the User Manual from the Sharp web site, I decided to buy the Sharp LC-32LB480U along with a Roku Streaming Stick. Sharp also sells their Smart TV which includes a Roku, however, I elected to buy the Stick and the Non-Smart TV, whereby I can move that Stick from one TV to another. The overall costs were the same, but I now have the additional flexibility of installing the Streaming Stick onto whatever TV I choose. Both the Sharp and the previously mentioned Samsung have 1080p. I would consider the picture equivalent to the Samsung. Also, the sound was more than adequate and should appeal to most. As a monitor, it is working well and I could not be happier. In addition, the remote is easy to operate, very responsive, and this, along with the on-screen menus, allows you to customize the picture to your hearts content. This unit has 3 - HDMI inputs which the Samsung also had, along with the same motion rate of 60hz. I was able to buy this TV while it was on sale for $30 less than what it is currently selling for, $279.99. Even at this price, it is an excellent choice. Most 32 inch TV's at this price point are have 720p, whereby the 1080p picture is superior. Don't hesitate, you'll be impressed!

The picture is very sharp on this screen. No signs of pixelation. The speakers are loud, however they don't really radiate forward. The sound is much louder behind the tv than if you're watching it. Overall very easy to use

Great TV. After a few years of use i had to get the sound replaced but it works like a charm!

Great TV for the price. Great HD picture and sound. It is slim and can be hung up or placed on a stand. Great brand that offers a nice TV for a decent price.

I originally bought a Samsung but the sound was so bad I returned it for this TV. Great TV for the price. Picture is good. Would have been 5 stars if the sound was a little better, but it was the best sound I could find for a TV this size. I also liked the stand. Overall very good small TV.

After several other brands/models returned due to picture or sound I'm so happy I found this sound and picture amazing !! Price unbeatable

This tv is great. I really like that it is small and light so I can move it around to hook up any devices around the house.
