Idiotic remote

I Regret this Open-Box sale at Best Buy

I purchased this item as an open-box item for my grandson's bedroom. This was the 1st time I've purchased an open box. Due to the COVID Best Buy only have curbside pick-up, and you cannot inspect the item before purchasing. Best Buy has a rating score for all open-box items. My fire tv was rated satisfactory so I was prepared to find a few blemishes. However, when I got home and opened my box I was surprised to find only the tv! There were no instructions on how to set up the fire-tv, no remote control, and no power cord! Without a power cord and remote this tv is basically useless. This purchase was a waste of my time, energy and effort. Bad sale at Best Buy!!!

Very unhappy with this TV

By the time she opened it, return window had closed. Will not connect to wifi. Moved it around her room, bought an extender. Nothing will work. Everything in our house will connect to wifi except this tv. Ended up having to buy her a different one and putting this one elsewhere in the house. Can only watch streaming services if I turn on my phone as a mobile hotspot and lean it up against tv, then it will connect to services. Wish I could return it and replace with Insignia. Our other televisions are Insignia and all work no matter where they are placed.

Speakers don't work

I spoke to Sharp 2-3 times, each time they gave instructions on resetting in a different manner, each would fix it for about 30-60 days before it started doing the same thing again. Finally they said to bring it back to Best Buy to have it fixed. I made an appt with Best Buy in Milford Mass. and 15 minutes before my appointment, they cancelled and said they would not fix it, I needed to send it back to Sharp. I called Sharp again and after waiting 40 min to speak to someone I was told Best Buy needs to fix it. This is so frustrating and totally not worth it.

Arrived broken

Got it for Christmas but he didn’t take it out of the box until we got him back to school. Unfortunately the tv screen was cracked so the item was unusable. Not sure if something like that would be replaceable unfortunately so he’s still without a tv until we get him another one. Obviously we weren’t able to test the quality of the tv in action since it was broken and unusable.

No Bluetooth

Yeah, that is not the truth. There is no bluetooth capability which is very important. Once it clicks over to the ROKU TV it takes forever to get it back to cable and is very difficult to use. I would not buy it again!

Rotten experience

Neither best buy nor sharp can do anything to make it right except send it for repairs that will take 2 months. Not realistic. Will never shop at or recommend best buy again and will never purchase another sharp product.

It has a white line down the middle of it covering a third of the screen. Can't take in to the Geek squad bc of Covid. Wth did I pay for an extended warranty for ? At this rate the 2 years will be up if this Covid B's keeps on.

Disappointed

I should've researched better and never order a tv online. It took 3 weeks to receive so I can't even return it. Bummed out.

Small TV

Sharp Roku TV, RIP only two years old.

No power cable

The Sharp 32" tv doesn't have an ethernet port

Waste of Money
