I bought this tv as a replacement for my old Sharp 32" that died after 11 years. The tv itself is fine in my first month of operation. The 2-leg stand is much more stable than the flimsy middle stands on other and larger tv's. The picture and sound are fair enough for a tv in this price class. If you are hooking the tv up to traditional antenna or a cable provider, it's a good little tv for a second room. The problem for me is using the HULU system. If you just hook up to an internet connection and attempt to use Hulu and all the "free" channels provided, be prepared to spend a lot of attention and time to set it up. You must have a Hulu (and others) account. Then on that account, you must download the media providers you want to use... Once set up, it's several steps to just watch a channel. The upside however, is you are getting tv without the cost of a cable or dish package. If you do subscribe to a cable tv provider and plan to operate the tv with an app and your phone as the remote, you won't receive all of the channels as does your main tv. The remote provided is small and certainly not conventional and easy to use: There are no numbers on the remote so you can't just input a channel number and you must go to the numbers screen on the tv. I have the tv hard wired to an internet connection, so I am not able to test it's Wi-Fi capabilities. Bottom line: this is not your Grandmother's tv, and is difficult to adapt to if that's what you (or your guests perhaps) are expecting. The operation of the tv itself is fine for a tv in this price range, and the picture quality and sound seems to be better than some other brands. If you are hooking it up to a cable box with a provided remote, it's fine. It's using the Hulu provider that proves to be time consuming and difficult at times. *I also disabled the microphone function just in case someone decided to listen to the room where the tv is located. As it's a tv connected to the internet, the Hulu service provider will always have an active connection to your tv and will be able to follow the channels you have selected to use.

I've owned it for a couple of years now and still working fine. Perfect size for the bedroom. Just a couple of things that I don't like: (1) The Roku remote is horrible -- it doesn't have any number buttons for the channels; only has the forward/backward buttons on the side of the remote to surf channels. (2) The volume drastically increases in some apps. I've noticed that the sound becomes louder during commercials when we're streaming through the Hulu app. It can be quite annoying having to constantly readjust the volume in between commercial breaks. I've tried looking for a way modify and balance the sound through the TV settings but nothing has worked so far. For pros, I do like that it has both an HDMI and USB ports that allow me to connect the TV to other devices. It's also quite easy to find and download the apps that you want to add and there's a homepage where you can see all the apps that you have. Set-up is more user-friendly than a Vizio TV.

The TV it self works great ! The remote sucks ! You can not actually choose a channel with out a lot of crap. It was easy to set up. We bought it for bedroom so at least it’s not our main tv. Also we thought the Roku would be great because we already have roku & that part is great.

I like this TV's quality and good picture, however, I originally bought it for a room without cable so I was using the digital OTA tuner. The remote has NO number keys! Stepping through two dozen individual channels by clicking went out with the 70's. Worse, even a universal remote that can address this TV cannot access the channels by number keys either! Why did anyone think leaving out a feature on remote controls for decades was a good idea just to save a few cents on fabricating the remote?

I like the TV. Good pic quality, it's lightweight, and pretty straightforward. I'd buy it again.

What was missing? Only the power cord. Something so essential it was impossible to know if the TV even worked. So I had to purchase a power cord before I could even test it.

So far this was a good purchase. It was a Christmas present and 6 months later no problems. Picture quality is fair but at this price point it is what was expected. Easy to set up & use.

TV is a good value, unless if you watch a lot of Hulu. For some reason, it doesn't work well with Hulu. I have the same tv in another room, and it has the same problem

Awesome tv I just dont like the remote does not have numbers in it to change the channel.

You get watch you pay for, good television overall.

For the price, this TV is a steal. I would recommend it to anyone who is not fixated on the latest and greatest TV.

I love everything I get but I was upset that I didn't notice it didn't come with a tv remote

The power button fell out the remote the first day we had the tv. And of course it is lost now

I bought this tv for the features but ended up returning it because the picture quality was not as good as the other tvs I have. The picture wasn't clear, colors were too bright and washed out, and I could never adjust it to be comparable to what I have. Its unfortunate as it has a lot of features I wanted.

A good black Friday buy. Works great for my kids playroom.

I’m not happy with how the volume gets loud and soft on its own

I brought this TV for my teenage son. It's a nice size for a small room.

a gift for international students. I rent to international students and there was question as to the whereabouts of their tv while on vacation. I took responsibility since I had a cleaning crew in their apartment and bought them this tv since it was a great value.
