After playing with the settings on the tv for about 20min (and there's not a lot of settings to change) I put in a few different movies in to see if that changed it. I put in movies that were made years apart to see if it had to do with the picture quality "back then," and it changed nothing. Even after talking to the very helpful, non-pushy, Best Buy guy, I thought I was getting a good deal for an HD? Does it work? Yes. Is the picture the best, eh not really, I don't enjoy way the tv makes all movies look gritty or not clear. Same with the picture coloring. Hard to understand why it's like this? I probably wouldn't recommend this to a friend.

This fit the bill perfectly. Only issue, sometimes when powering up, "static" appears on screen. A simple power down and then back up fixes the issue. I was worried something was going to fail...but all is well with the above work-around.

Mostly just use it to play video games or watch YouTube. I'm please with it for the most part. I just don't like the color on the picture, I can't get it to the perfect spot and I try everything. Most of the time it's too light or too dark and look a little off somehow.
