Very hard to hear most programs especially sports. The announcer sounds muffled and crowd noise is very loud. Also appears to have an internal microphone issue as sound cuts out often. Am replacing with LG

Had to return as defective

Sharp customer support couldn't help and they recommended returning it to Best Buy. Unfortunately there wasn't another one available as a replacement.

My viewing environment for this excellent TV are low lighting at approximately 10 feet. I calibrated it using the THX tune-up app for the iPhone connected through the HDMI port. I got an excellent and vibrant picture with the following settings: Picture mode:normal Dynamic contrast off Backlight 90 Brightness 49 Contrast 52 Sharpness 25 Color 44 Tint (-22) Color temp normal Game mode off

Picture Settings Anyone?

The remote is kid like in my opinion. It's beyond basic, small, easy to misplace. I do not like how you have to use two remotes, 1 for the tv & 1 for the cable/satellite. If there is an inexpensive way around this, someone please share. Also, I have not tweaked the picture, which is decent, yet, if someone has perfected their picture on this tv beyond the factory settings, please post the settings, it would be greatly appreciated. May sound like I do not like the tv, not true. The tv is decent, not great, not terrible. I give it 4 stars on account of the size, built in Roku and price. There are several features missing, but not for $250! I also opted for the 5 year in home Geek Squad Protection Plan for an additional $50.00. What a deal! Other reviewers: Settings please?!?!
