A very competitively priced 4K TV. If you are using this with a computer it is fantastic. Just remember you need a 4K signal to get the 4K picture. My only wish was there was more Apps. I use Netflix so that is great, but I also use Hulu so I had to find another way of getting that on the TV. Overall though a great TV with a great picture. Cant beat it for the money.

T.v. Works good. Picture is great. Speakers are sub par, They work but nothing special. The remote is the biggest downfall to this t.v. It's a cheap remote with limited options. for the price it's a great buy. I paid 599$ sharp has been a good brand for me my first flat screen was 47 inch sharp I bought 8 years ago and it still works great.

Incredible picture in this Sharp TV. Feels like you're watching things in " real life " User friendly. No issues. Remote could be a little bigger and backlight would be nice.

The TV is great for the price. The picture quality is nice, my Samsung is better BUT it also cost a lot more. The remote is better bad, its looks like a remote from back in the 80s.

This TV has a great picture, was a solid value, but the remote is junk. The remote is small, hard to read, and a big NETFLIX button that sits right in the middle that you hit when trying to navigate. Wonder how much Netflix paid them. Very sad.

The remote is probably the worst thing about the TV. I wonder in this day and age how a company could create a really nice TV, but accompany it with such a bad remote. It will only work at certain angles and often leads to repeated pushes of the same button. The buttons are small and not in a good layout. The other issue is that it forgets my Netflix password at random times. This wouldn't be a huge deal, but the remote is horrible as I previously mentioned and it's a pain to enter in again. The picture is really nice and it has normal smart TV features, but it's so difficult to access using the remote.

My previous TV crashed. I went to Best Buy looking for a comparable TV. I was introduced to the Sharp 4K. The picture quality in my opinion is the same as any other sharp TV. In the store the 4K demo showed its capabilities, but in your home unless you are going to be in 4K mode often your picture quality will be just basic. I had to TV installers, they didn't know it was 4K until I told him. My family and I cannot tell the difference. But for 55 inch for $599... It's a great deal.

Quite Good, Requires Careful Adjustment One Time

I was a TV repairman many years ago, and have many years of experience adjusting color TVs. This one will produce a truly excellent full range of colors and brightness levels once setup properly. Like most modern TVs it is very easy to maladjust as well. With care you'll be able to see the full range of black to charcoal gradients. The viewing angle range is good, the overall brightness is good, It must have an antireflective coating as we get no glare from windows nearby. We chose Sharp because they male their own panels, and I know from experience their products tend to be reliable. Viewing DirecTV, Fire TV and a TiVo via an HDMI AV Receiver the sharpness of 1080P signals is excellent.

I bought the sharp 55in - 4K TV on sale. The picture is crisp. The sound is great. There are 4 HDMI outlet, which is great. The one con: the remote is frustrating. The angle or aim must be precise to interact with the TV. It's a "Best Buy" :)

Wouldn't normally consider a Sharp TV, but this one offers outstanding value for the money. Crisp signal, great luminance & colour. Did not see paying $500 more for a Sony or Samsung.

Awesome picture & easy set up. The picture is so clear it's like I'm looking through a window at the actual thing. I only have 1 tiny complaint & it's not the TV, it's the remote. It doesn't have a sleep button, you have to go to the menu to set the timer.

A 4k name brand TV for the open box price of $529 is great. Picture was a lot better than anything else under that $600 price point. I turn off all the software that gives it the soap opera effect. WiFi smart TV is a nice feature. People complain about the remote, it is a little flaky but after I set it up goes in the drawer. I use Harmony remotes.

A lightning strike took out our TV on Christmas Eve. We needed a replacement before the College Playoff games. We saw the Sharp Aquos on sale. A great purchase. Vivid colors and a very sharp image. Watching live sporting events and movies and playing games has been a joy on this huge screen. The only negative is a very confusing remote. Instead of numbers, a circular touch pad is used to navigate channels and functions.

Had owned a Sharp Aquas before and loved it the picture quality and color crispness was magnificent. Was replacing an older SONY that had finally quit on us and was looking for a replacement secondary TV. After looking at this with the new 4K technology we made our old sharp Aquas our secondary TV. Would highly recommend.

Set up with ease and a picture that brings life to the television with amazing vivid, rich, and deep colors that will be sure to impress. . From in the box to working on our cable system in under 10 minutes with no tweaking required, we were impressed. The other part of the deal was the price, over 50% the sticker price and prices listed here. For our needs this has been a wonderful purchase.

The first one that was delivered had a mark on the inside of the screen that as originated at the factory. The second one delivered has a excellent picture and color. Finally a remote that is easy to use. Very good Sharp. I own two houses and 4 Sharp TVs that should tell you how much I enjoy Sharp products.
