Clear picture but buttons are in back of TV instead of on side so hard to get to them when on the wall or if need to connect any cords. Great Tv for price. Love it!

this tv has excellent picture quality but the smart function is really basic, only a few apps, maybe like 7 to 10. And the remote doesnt have numbers on it.

This is a great tv with a clear picture and perfect size for our basement. The only thing I dislike is the remote. It is a smart tv with a dumb remote.

I had mixed feelings about buying this TV. Mixed because I was replacing a perfectly good TV that my son broke the screen on, but I was looking forward to getting a 4K display. The smart TV aspect is good, especially since the embedded Netflix app can handle the 4K resolution. The picture quality overall is very good. Whether I am watching cable, or using a PS4, everything looks clean and crisp. If you are on the fence, go for the 4K.

I read a lot of the reviews and the most negative ones were about the "cheap remote". It is sort of "cheap". Having said that, it in no way reflects the TV. The picture in regular HD is enhanced and is beyond what I had hoped for. I signed up for Netflix and they have true 4K ultra high def movies and series. I couldn't believe my eyes. It's almost 3D. I read a review by a TV repair person that explained how to set it up. He was spot on. This is the best TV bar none I have ever seen. And an unbelievable price. You can't pass this up if you are in the market for a new TV.

Overall we are very pleased with the 4K 55' Smart TV by Sharp. Still trying to understand all the 'smart' features! One 'dumb' aspect is it overrides the stereo monitor and switches it to the TV/Cable setting even though that is not the proper setting for viewing. Minor irritation relative to the incredible picture it produces!

Good value, glitchy software

Picture, sound, features, everything is great. But it's so glitchy... Couldn't connect it to fios WiFi, fortunately the router is behind the TV stand, so I used lan, which is more reliable in terms of signal. Software is very advanced and glitch. My next TV will be a plain " tv". It's all redundant, internet is everywhere, blueray, xbox etc. But there are no 4k TVs that are plain and simple

I had a 60" Samsung plasma TV. My almost 2 year old daughter decided to throw a metal measuring cup that she snuck past my wife at it. We bought this one because it was on sale. For the price, and the fact it was a 4K smart TV, you can't go wrong. I do have to say, the picture of the plasma was a lot richer in colors than this one. 4k shows on Netflix were great, but I didn't notice anything different from watching Blu-ray. Overall, it's a great TV for the price.

The Aquos from Sharp is all it was hyped up to be. It was the perfect addition to our family room and my little one is fascinated by it. The picture is breathtaking and crystal clear. I never experienced true HD in my home until now.

My interest in this TV was brought on by the great sale price. I did research, read reviews and decided to go for it. The picture is fantastic. The 4 HDMI inputs are perfect for cable, gaming and bluray player. Some folks do not like the remote, but I don't mind. It's minimalist but lacks nothing and is probably part of why Sharp is able to offer such a great price. Overall, this TV is great and we are really enjoying the big screen.

Love this television! It is pretty simple to operate and for me, that's pretty amazing :) I love all the features, and the picture is outstanding! My only regret is that I didn't purchase a larger size....60-70 inch is in my future!!

My family & I love the TV so far. We've had no problem connecting it to the Wifi & the picture on the TV is excellent. The only thing that I'm not over the moon about with the TV is the stand legs. They are a bit sharp & have scratched up my TV cabinet.

I've had this TV for about a month now, and so far I absolutely love it.
This is a huge upgrade from my previous 42" 1080p LG that's maybe 4-5 years old. I was expecting a sizable difference jumping up to 55", and I expected to see better clarity with the 4K up-conversions. But I was blown away at how much better the colors are on this TV.
The Bad:
I've only tried a few of the apps. Netflix works great, I use it when I want to watch the 4K content. Otherwise I use my Xbox Netflix as it's much easier to use. The Youtube app doesn't work at all - it points to a web page that no longer exists. I couldn't log into Pandora for some reason, even though I could log in through my Xbox One just fine after the TV app failed.
The TV menu is kind of horrible in my opinion, though maybe it's better with the standard remote. But if you don't have a remote there are certain things that simply don't work, such as the on screen keyboard input.
I bought an open box model which didn't include a stand or remote. So I had to buy a universal remote. The remote synced up seemingly fine, but some of the buttons on the remote don't trigger the expected behavior I'd expect. I don't know if this is an issue with the remote not sending the correct codes or that simply being the behavior of the TV.
Overall I'm very happy with this TV and am very satisfied with my purchase.

I am a Samsung mom and still am but for the price and quality, excellent picture, I cannot complain. Only draw back I have is the thickness/depth, hence the 4⭐️. Purchased for my son as his Xmas gift and he was able to set it up and enjoy within minutes. He's a techie, so I am sure he will figure out how to face-time me from his TV since he's been hooked on it from day one.
