So I picked this up because of the great reviews. Long story short. Filters kept falling out and we're leaning against the backside of the cover. Therefore all the air is not passing through the filter. For reference I am speaking of the charcoal pre filter. This will cause the expensive hepa filter to be used up in no time. Sharp customer service tried to figure out the issue by looking up YouTube videos of there own product. I guess they k have no clue what they sell and manufacture. Expected better service as I could do the same thing. Didn't know YouTube provides answers to product defects. Anyway they could not figure out the issue and had me exchange it for another one. Picked up the next one and it had the same problem. The filters were made a hair too small. Manufacture defect. Again, several days dealing with YouTube watching customer service and they have me return it rather then send me new filters to try. Now they are not on sale anymore and i could not afford to purchase another one for $250 vs. The 170 i paid. Guess my allergies will just have to wait. Iwill not be buying another sharp product. Fyi, if you have a problem with your sharp product but it's covered under warranty you still have to pay to ship the item to them. Yeah, it's expensive. Keep that in mind when buying sharp products. This is a very high quality air purifier. A must buy

This unit is virtually silent when run on the low setting. Very important as this is located in the master bedroom. I can tell the difference in the air quality. So far, very pleased.

I bought two of these because I have indoor dogs - and they get a little smelly sometimes. This has been working really well for me at keeping the odor at bay. I notice when I come into the room that it smells fresher. My only complaint is that it is a little noisy. You get used to it really quickly - but when you are used to total silence, it is noticeable.

I like this very much. It's great. I use it every night.

Very quiet on low cleans effectively and great at ridding odors. We use primarily in our bedroom. Purchased 3 when on sale have yet to open the other 2. Hepatitis filter is veryyour snugh bUT looks like replacements may be a bit pricy.

great air purifier, it was easy to set up. and I like that I don't have to buy filters every 30 days. great for small room.

Baseboard heat and no way to filter air so I was looking at Purifiers/Filters. Decided to give this one a try in a Medium sized living room with opening to Kitchen. Its a bit loud on high(not terrible) but cant complain for the volume of air its moving. I run it on low/med regularly.

Purifies the air very well and cleans all the pollen.

I purchased an air purifier for my room to alleviate my allergies indoor. I liked the the way air intake and output were located. Only gripe is that it's loud and filters cost over $50+... For $200, you would expect a UV light to kill germs...

I have one dog and the carbon filter gets clogged after around a month of use. Carbon filter is around $25 each

I use this air purifier at work. I noticed the difference in the air after the first day. It's pretty spendy but well worth it.

This air purifier is Great. Could not believe the air quality in the room after first use. I use it all the time. Its like having a window open, getting the fresh air, but not the cold in the winter. I put it on high at night and low during the day and it has made a big difference in the air quality in the house. Will be purchasing another for the bedroom.

A little loud on high (but not necessary while sleeping). Ionic mode makes intermittent popping sounds that can be a little distracting to light sleepers. I've owned mine for a few months and run it constantly on low/med without the ion function. Overall, I'm satisfied with the style, ability to run quietly, and how easy it is to use and change filters.

Great to remove dust and allergens from the air! I used to wake up with a stuffy nose every morning but now I don't and since I can breath more easily I can get a better nights sleep. Keeps the air moving so it doesn't seem stuffy or stale.
