Purchased this for Living room and moved my 8 year old 52" Sharp to Dining room. Picture is excellent, loaded with features although I haven't used all of them. Downloaded the Web browser for the TV which works well enough if you need to use it. Audio is OK, but mine runs through surround system.

I couldn't get this TV to work with sound bar when using TV native applications (YouTube, Netflix and etc). When using any of HDMI connected equipment - all works. But built in apps work only thru TV speakers. Called Sharp and was told that this a software limitstion to protect copyright law. When I called major retailers, nobody was aware of this. It's not mentioned in the manual or on the box. I believed it is a major problem.

I bought this tv as an open box item, but like new. The picture is great and the sound is far better than our previous flatscreen. Great price for 4K!

Very average

Very average TV, especially considering I could have spent several hundred dollars less to get the same picture quality on a TV with apps that actually work.
Netflix quit connecting after about 2 weeks. Other apps show a picture, but no sound. The set only says "check your internet connection." Which it then shows as connected.
It can't be that difficult to produce a TV with everything that works.
I'm very disappointed in this purchase.

Poor quality with many issues

Bought this unit on sale at BestBuy for $899. However, it went back today due to several issues. First issue was that on several streams there were odd green lines flickering on the screen. Some movies on my Google Play account had color bars on top and lower border of the screen. Also the audio did not send to receiver when playing Netflix or any other streaming video. The audio did play through the receiver when watching cable TV. Other issue was with WiFi. It does connection consistently. I do not have any of these issue with my other TV (Vizio P series UHD). The only good was the picture quality was good when all other issues were not as obvious. Hence, after only having this set for 24 hours it went back and exchanged for an LG 60uf7300 which is working well so far.

installed this tv a few days ago and have already had to do a factory reset due to Android Tv app freezes. The picture is average for a 4k in this price range. The biggest issue is with the digital and analog audio outputs. Like Gerry posted Netflix will not output to a sound bar on this TV nor will YouTube. Sharp tech support is NO help with this issue. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with a rep that knew nothing about this tv or its menus. The final disclaimer I received from Sharp was it is due to copy protection, yet VUDU will play through external audio. Netflix will play via the sound bar if i use the app on my Sony Blu-Ray player. Also no Amazon TV app. Sharp needs a new engineering team. Returning this tv.

First off I need to say that my frustration level was already high when I was unpacking. I had purchased a similar Samsung and had to return because of pixel issues. They were sold out of that Samsung model and salesperson thought I would be just as happy with this Sharp model - I wasn't!
The Sharp had all the bells and whistles as the Samsung except it was missing one key feature, a good picture or the capability to calibrate to achieve one. The default factory setups produced horrible pictures. I researched for Sharp calibration recommendations and none were to be found for this model (although there were numerous other people who had the same issues). I contacted Sharp support for some direction but failed to ever hear back. Bottom line, poor picture and poor service = TV exchange.
Best Buy has been very accomodating and now about to try another Samsung.Lets hope 3 is a charm.

The panel went on my 70" Aquos after 14 months leaving a red verticle line on the screen. Sharp sold me a refurbished for $400 and when it arrived 3 weeks later it did not work either. Sharp wanted to send out another but I figured I would just cut my losses and refund my $400 and put it towards a new Sony. Do not waste your time and hard earned money on Sharp Electronic GARBAGE!

Tv only lasted 18 months. Cheaply made tv if you do buy it get the extended warranty because you are going to need it. You are better off paying extra for a Samsung or Sony. Good price point = bad tv.
