If you were a fan of the twists and turns present in Gone Girl, this HBO series is one to watch, as both Gone Girl and Sharp Objects were originally books by Gillian Flynn.

I binge watched all 8 episodes in one sitting. The acting is so good, and the story will keep you coming back for more as you’re looking for answers.

If You haven't read the book, or seen the show, I would recommend doing both They really Nailed this one!!!

This series is a brooding psychological drama. As a news reporter, Camille (Amy Adams) is assigned to research two killings of young girls in the small town where Camille grew up. That overriding plot arch is complicated by Camille's alcoholism and addiction to self inflicted pain. The source of Camille's emotional problems becomes apparent when we meet Camille's mother. There are murders to solve and emotionally troubled, disfunctional lives to sort out. The series doesn't stress actual physical gore and violence, although some is there. It's about destructive, internal feelings and why they came about.

Awesome HBO series based off the book. Very dark series.

A reporter confronts the psychological demons from her past when she returns to her hometown to cover a violent murder. Amy Adams, Eliza Scanlen & Patricia Clarkson all deserve Emmy and Golden Globe nominations! Would recommend book the book but if your not much of a reader and like to be shocked go ahead and pick this tv series up! HBO killed it with this limited series.

Being a HUGE Amy Adam's fan I HAD to get this series. I watched it on AMAZON and when I heard it was coming to Blu-Ray I was ecstatic and I have to say, ITS EVEN BETTER ON BLU-RAY. I pre-ordered it through Best Buy and it arrived 4 days before its release date, so I can NOT complain in the slightest.

Good story, well acted. Blu-Ray copy came with the digital version that was easy to redeem. No issues with the product, arrived quickly, packaged well.

This is one of the best mini series I have seen in a long time. The acting is top notch and the plot keeps you hooked until the finale.

I read the book then watched this and was very happy with the portrayal of the roles by the actors/actresses.....good movie
