Shin Godzilla is the best Godzilla movie yet because they went back to the original since this was a Japanese production so it does not have the typical Hollywood style script. If you like the Japanese Old School Godzilla classics you will really enjoy this flick.

I really liked the American Godzilla movie we got a few years ago but this one is closer to the originals (particularly Godzilla '85). It plays more like a natural disaster movie than a monster movie. The Blu-ray has great picture quality and sound.

This is my favorite version of Godzilla, because of how it evolves from a goofy looking creature to the indestructible being that it is, destroying everything in it's path. Great film.

I’ve been a Godzilla fan since I was a kid (36 years young currently)! I went to the limited theater release of this and I LOVED it!! I can’t wait for the sequel. If you’re a true Gojira fan, this should float your boat nicely!

It has been over ten years since a japanese godzilla movie has been made. Unlike the 2014 godzilla from legendary you see much more of godzilla and have a more interesting cast if human characters which allows a much more entertaining movie.

This is the first Godzilla movie made by a Japanese film company (for a Japanese audience) in a gazillion years. I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you watch it, please keep in mind the primary audience was not American.

I saw this one in the movie theater and had to buy it on Blu-ray. It's one of the best Godzilla movies ever, and has a lot of serious points to make regardless of it being a 'monster movie'. Hope the next Godzilla is a sequel to this one.

We had to wait a very long time for this movie. I was a little disappointed with the end, but if you like Godzilla you will be entertained. My son is just nuts about Godzilla. It was definitely worth the wait.

Recreation of a classic. Godzilla from a tadpole to the legend ... like the serious and mystery of the development of godzy. I had fun watching it an I do believe it was still a guy in a suit ... nice! Japanese style. Fans will appreciate it.

One of the better and different Godzilla movies made. Not only is it a monster movie but also deals with the political aspects of the government dealing with this creature.

This movie was truly Amazing! This incarnation of the Mighty King of Monsters was spectacular, the monster evolving to its ultimate form was breath taking and the visuals were superb. i'll be watching this over and over again!

I am a fan of Godzilla so may be a bit biased. This movie dives more into the politics of fighting the Kaiju then the actual destruction monster movies are known for. Still some good town crunching for this HUGE Godzilla

The Special Effects and the Godzilla Creature was Good and Scary. It kinda creeped me out during his transformation. The Human actors not so much. Good Movie gor a Friday Night

Overall a great move. Just wish Goji had more screen time. A must have for any die hard Godzilla fan.

This is an amazing film as well as an amazing Godzilla movie. The plot is excellent and the writing is top notch, especially the monster effects/design.

Just like the old rubber suits were cheesy back in the day, the cgi is even cheesier. Not a bad movie per say, but I could not stop laughing at some of the scenes involving Godzilla.

This is an awesome reboot of the Godzilla franchise by the original TOHO film company. It is in Japanese, but includes a very good in-sync English audio dub. If you are a Godzilla fan then this is a must have.

Not your typical Godzilla film. The premise of this film being told strictly from the human perspective is great. The acting is superb

This movie was interesting in a good way with the new version of Godzilla. The way people reacted to it was standard, but how the government deals with it seems almost real enough.

A new take on a classic monster. This is a very good well paced Godzilla movie. It gives us a very unique take on the monster. Only wish there was more screen time for Godzilla
