Its the first time a Shining game has come to the US but unless you are a diehard fan of JRPGs it is probably not worth your time.

Along with dragon quest 11, nier automata, xenoblade chronicles 2 and nights of azure i got the same vibe of a fun anime adventure in a fantasy setting. This one has a few cheesy moments but overall the story is great and memorable. The main character is a crybaby at beginning but the other characters make him more confident and it has a different ending foe every character you spend the most time with on dates or bro time. The battle system is nice but its kind of hard facing dragons in the beginning since you team mates get whipped hard lol leaving you to do the heavy lifting. Graphics look perfect on ps4 pro im amazed its a remaster of a game from the ps3.

If you can stand some of the jankiness that comes from the PS3 era of JRPGs, then this game has some beautiful artwork and magnificent music to accompany this stellar remaster
