If you know what this is, you already know that getting this game released was more of a fan service than anything else. The game is still excellent, the DLC is free, and the hard copy with a nice, thick physical manual is very nice.

Old time platforming game that's just fun to play. Controls are very good and there are humorous moments throughout the game. Have enjoyed playing it along with my grandchildren. It even has dragons.

Shovel Knight is one of the best platformers out there, and doesn't matter whether or not you've played classic NES games before. The 3DS version has fun StreetPass features and the handheld version makes it feel more like an old GameBoy Color game than an NES game.

Soundtrack is zippy and fun to hear. Gameplay is fast, and does require timing and agile fingers. Just like the vintage games we grew up on. The graphics are beautifully colored and the Shovel Knight is so cute: just like MegaMan!

For any old school gamers out there, Shovel Knight makes you feel right at home. It brings back fond memories of games like Ducktales. I played it on an international flight and it made the time fly by!

This game is fantastic! If you enjoyed old classics such as mega man or duck tales then don't hesitate to pick this up! I wish more indie developers would put there games on physical media like this!!!

I underestimated this platformer. The levels become increasingly difficult, but repeated attempts will leave you satisfied once you progress through the difficult part the stage!

This game does nothing new, but it does what it does great. It has the feel of Super Mario Bros, Mega Man, and even Duck Tales all set in a fun world with groovy 8 Bit music.

If you like old school platformers this is great. Game is difficult, but not overly so. Art style is awesome and really looks like old school games. Would reccomend.

This game rocks 8-bit. It doesn't need cool graphics to be a great game . An old school feel of platforming with new twists. One of the best 3ds games to date.

This game feels like all my childhood favorite new games put into one. It's like mega man, super Mario and ducktails had a child and it was this game!

Shovel knight is a great throw back to the 2D megaman/castlevania/metroid era style game. Not too easy, but not too hard, and very rewarding. Game is a bit too short for my liking, beating the game multiple times doesn't really shake things up, but a nice overall game to pass the time.

Shovel Knight takes you on an worldly adventure like no other. With great game play physics and exciting bosses to defeat.

I'm officially a double dipper on Shovel Knight. I own it on Wii u digitally and love it so much I had to own physical portable copy. I recommend to all! Plus lots of free content incoming in the form of new campaigns and characters as well as modes. Cant wait!

Got this as a gift for a co workers child. He loves the game i was told. Price was just right at best buy

Fans of classic platforming games like Duck Tales and Megaman will feel right at home with Shovel Knight.

Had this already downloaded on the Wii U, but needed it physically on 3ds. We'll worth the double dip.

Very awesome game brings back that 32 bit memories. Kind of have a duck tales flair to it.
