Mic works great. I love it. It’s exactly the look I wanted and it gave me everything needed.

I went back and forth between this microphone and the sm7b. Ultimately I decided on the mv7x and am very happy I did. These mic’s are great for our needs and the price is right. Two mics at $179 each vs $399 each for the sm7b plus a likely $250 for the Cloudlifter for ALMOST as good is great for me.

A friend and I have been using this mic to record a remote podcast. The quality is amazing! When we download our files, you would think we had been in the same room on a full blown studio mixer. Highly recommend, especially if the pricier SM7B is out of your pay grade.

The microphone, being XLR, will always have pretty solid audio quality. I paired it with a Presonus Revalator io24 (phenomenal interface for the price) and it sounded great. You would need to talk directly into the front so I had to adjust quite often whether I used the stand or the boom arm i bought for it.

This is a great microphone for those looking to branch into professional audio. It is basically a much simpler version of the previously-released MV7 (sans the touch controls, headphone jack, and USB port). Many think of this as a "baby" SM7B, which is probably one of the most well-known vocal mics in the world. Here is my recommendation: replace the stock windscreen with an SM7B windscreen (Shure part #RK345, costs about $15.00). It will fit this mic and enhance its performance noticeably.

As a recording Engineer, I'm satisfied with the microphone. This came in as described and works perfectly than I originally thought it would as a replacement for Shure SM7B

Best purchase I've made yet! I knew the Shure was considered the best, but this mini was a question mark before I bought it. Well, not anymore! I absolutely love it!

I never could use the microphone because I had to buy a stand with some cables. I waited 5 days to get it and when I got it, I needed two more cables to plug it, so I just decided to take it back.
