I had been in the market for a good ultra-wide lens for my full frame Nikon DSLR that would not break the bank. I like the perspective the wide lens gives to landscapes. Also appreciate the ability to shoot wide architecture shots. There is some distortion especially if your lens is not parallel with the horizon. Some folks appreciate the bowl look while others do not. Much of the distortion can be fixed with a number of photo manipulation programs. I also like that you can keep the hood adaptor on to attache a 82mm filter on the end. This only works for 14mm and up though, or you will get vignetting. I have only tried the lens out a few times so far, but I really like the results so far. I think it will be used more and more as I get out and about in nature. There will certainly be limits to the use, but I am already exploring new ways to utilize the unique perspective this lens offers at a very good price.
