This lense is amazing!! I’m vacationing in California. I took a whale watching trip. My lense at that time did a fantastic job but, still wasn’t close like I wanted. I purchased this lens and WOW! The detail in my photos are amazing. It meet all my expectations and more. Well worth the money.

I have been using my Nikon D750 paired with my Nikon 200/500 lens and i have been happy with it. Then a friend recommended trying this lens.. I did and was very surprised at the quality of this lens and how sharp it was even at wide open 6.3 I have nothing negative to say about this lens except for the weight... I thought the nikon was heavy... This feels like it is twice the weight of it.. I didnt much care about the weight because i shoot on a tripod nearly almost all the time but the few time i have shot this lens hand held and i have been able to pull off some incredible shots.... The focus speed on this lens compared to the nikon is like comparing a race car to an electric car... the sigma is super fast and acurate The dock station seems like a waste but it is something that you will need in due time unless you want to send the lens back to sigma for up dates... you can change you lens focus speed and how it locks on to the subject and stays locked on.... I dont really use any of the Custom functions, I set it on os 2 for hand held and os off while on the tripod

This was the perfect addition to my camera lenses. I have used it to photograph wildlife in my woods, cattle shows and so much more. It works wonderfully!

I was a bit skeptical of a 600mm zoom lens, but this product exceeded my expectations for the high quality it delivers.

I've been a professional photographer for many years, but delayed buying a very long lens despite the occasional need for one. I couldn't justify the cost. Then, I rented this lens once, and realized that it could do the job. So, I went ahead and bought it. So far, it's been great.

So proud to own this lens for under 2k. The Nikon's this size I have seen we're always over 5K. Mine is the sport model so can't speak for non-sports model except they are several hundred dollars less. I would buy mine again without a doubt.

So far it's been good, heavy, build Quaility good, performance so far good.
