This is a good alternative to a proper Canon lens. it' just as sharp and about half the price.

this is a really heavy lense. All canon lenses are a lot more lighter.

This is one of the best overall Travel lense for my 80D. it is quick and the photos are sharp, I have other lens, but this stays on my camera when I am traveling, 90% of the time.
I would recommend this to a friend

I do real estate photography and like the versatility of this lens. That said, I’m not “blown away” by the performance. It’s a pretty nice lens for video. Just not as crisp as I’d like to present to clients for web display and brochures. It’s great for an “enthusiast“ or advanced amateur but definitely not suitable for professional use.
