I had been eyeing this lens for a while. I'm so happy I finally got it. The quality of this lens is amazing. The physical structure is not plastic and really made well. The image quality is amazing. I can get super crisp images with this lens. I am mainly a portrait photographer, and I can say this was worth the wait.

I was looking for a standard 35mm lens so that I can get more into portrait photography and I’m so glad I went with this one! I’ve been using a Tamron 18-400mm zoom lens for the nature photography that I enjoy shooting most of the time. This lens really allows you to get comfortable with manual settings. It’s also extremely sharp. Haven’t used it for portraits yet but I am very impressed with the results I have gotten so far.
I am an amateur photographer but am looking to expand upon my skills. I probably could have gone a more cost efficient route with my skill level but I will be glad I went with this lens in the long run.

One of the best lens ever purchased in 2022 and have not had any issues. This is my daily lens so would definitely recommend to anybody wanting to purchase it.

If you are looking to make the jump from basic lenses to pro level equipment, this is THE lens to start with. The 35mm focal length is versatile for so many applications, and in terms of picture quality, Sigma knocks it out of the park. But don't rely on the lens to make you a good photographer either. The lens can only take the picture beautifully. But it can't tell you what picture to take. So I wouldn't recommend this if you're still in the learning stages. But if you've learned the to an intermediate level and are ready to take the next step, this is it. Only issue I had was a pretty severe front focus tendency in the default autofocus. But using the USB dock (sold separately) fixed that right up and now it's a tack driver.

Built like a rock. Metal, not plastic. No image stabilization. Very true to life colors. Not as vibrant or vivid as Canon's RF 50mm L lens, but just as sharp. Focusing also just as fast. Also same are the faint clicking and buzzing noise as it focuses which your camera's mic would probably pick up if you're doing video. Bokeh is there although I'm having a hard time seeing the separations. Maybe I'm just used to Canon's. I can't complain about the image quality, but I fail to see the "art" in this lens. I would not pay $900 for this, but on sale for $750 it's about right.

The picture quality that comes with this lens is is absolutely incredible. I got a lot more customers once I started posting photos from this lens. Absolutely worth the money, best purchase I’ve ever made tbh

I am new to photography, but decided to start investing in a camera/lens so I could get pictures of our family. I was nervous about getting a lens that wasn’t from Canon, but this lens is amazing! I’ve already taken several pictures of our toddler while bluebonnets were in season and they are so cute!!

Needed a wider angle lens for portraits and I chose this over others. This is definitely worth the price. The quality of the photos after I purchased this was immediate.

The lens, I love it so much!!! I was stalking it for a while and just had to move forward with the purchase! My niece is the extra lucky one…lol! She’s cashing in on the shoots!

I love this lens. It is a game changer and in my opinion as good as the canon 35mm. Love it and definitely recommend. I was on the fence when I read reviews but I’m glad I bought it!

This was my first Sigma art lens which I had bought for an upcoming proposal! Its fast, sharp, and takes beautiful photos! It's nice and heavy, you can tell its of course a quality lens.

Bought this lens 2 weeks ago and I have photographed a wedding and two portraits sessions so far. The lens is fast and sharp! It’s everything I had heard about this lens. One of my go to lens when doing weddings! I highly recommend it!

Using it for all my portrait sessions and loving it so far! I do have some issues with soft focus sometimes but nothing that's been a real problem for me so far!

This lens is great quality for the price! Only downside is the autofocus tends to not be the best, however everything else about this lens is perfect for me!
