    This lens has helped me take my photo game to the next level. As a beginner I was worried my photos might suffer due to my inexperience; however, this lens is so amazing, my photos look professional with little to no editing. Great purchase. The only minor setback is how heavy it is. There is a newer model out that is much more compact. Even still, I have no regrets about my purchase.

    First thoughts, super smooth bokeh. Very clear photos. I'm very impressed with the glass itself. The AF motor takes awhile to seek, but since this is a portraiture lens, it was worth saving $1000 over the native sony model.
