Great phone for about 18 months

This phone has been a great phone for about a year and a half. I loved the picture quality and had no complaints for that time. Recently it's started to make a weird sound and cut out during calls.
I paid an extra couple hundred for 2 years of GeekSquad protection when I bought the phone, so I made an appointment for repair and drove out there. That's when they told me they do not have staff that can fix Samsung phones at this location. (Why was I able to make an appointment for the repair then?) and the only location that could do it is not able to do it now or for the forseeable future for some reason. When I called this other location they offered me a refurbished replacement if I pay them another $200 instead of fixing the issues I'm having, since they can't help me. I'm still paying on this phone, so I don't really want to buy a new one, and I don't want to spend another $200 on a refurbished one.
I will definitely never fall for the "buy GeekSquad protection" again. Not happy.
