    Don't waste your money

    I thought I would switch to save some money. I bought the sim card and reup from a local Best Buy last week. Called on Friday to have my number ported. It didn't happen, called again on Saturday. They resubmitted it. Called again today (Monday) to find out that they messed up the port because they didn't correctly write my information and now they have to submit a ticket so I can use the SIM and ReUp card again - which takes another 24 hours so they can try again tomorrow. I don't even trust that this process was done correctly. With other services you can do the porting online (ex: Virgin Mobile) and it happens in a matter of hours. Virgin Mobile sadly has much better CS (not by much, but at least I've always had things resolved) and you can do mostly everything online yourself. Don't bother with Simple Mobile.

    Customer service is horrible. They seem to be speaking English without understanding most of it though. Funny part is they keep saying "Sir, I understand" without really understanding it. Porting the number wasted so many hours and ended up not working. They issued a ticket to refund the plan and to re-activate the sim card. Asked me to call back after 24 hours to check the status. It took three separate phone calls to issue the ticket for a refund. I'll give it another try just for the sake of saving 10$/month compared to t-mobile.
