Lasts maybe a week on a full charge on medium settings. -you need very strong reliable internet, internet service provider doesnt cut it. Wont initalize fully half the the time without it -picks and chooses when it notices things, not reliable at night. It should also be noted that all of these are the IMPROVEMENTS with the recent update. Basically if you like integration into a single system and have a Simplisafe, go for it i suppose, but there are better options

Ive used Ring in the past, so this was a similar setup. I this Simplisafe is actually easier. Battery last longer than my ring. Good video. NO system is perfect as this price point. Good for what it is.

This is just like the first generation Nest Outdoor camera except that this one is wireless. It's not 4K. It's not even 2K. It's just 1080p. This is a rookie outdoor camera compared to the veterans like Nest outdoor cam or even the Eufy outdoor cam. Don't like charging the battery? The solar panel for this is $80. Another expensive item from Simplisafe.

Easy to install, easy to to recharge the battery. Battery lasted a good 6 months before needing a recharge.

Easy to use(make sure you charge the battery before installing). They’ve been working well remotely with the app. I have the whole system, but they work with wifi only, or more features if you have a monitoring plan
