I read the reviews and most said it was an easy setup and it was. I added an additional motion and that was easy too. My windows and doors are trimmed out in a way that I will attempt those connections at a future date.

I’ve been using SimpliSafe for years, now installed in my 4 to house. Very easy install and easily paired with base station. The monitoring service is very responsive to an alert. Great self-install system.

I was looking for something that I could install myself. This was exactly that! Very easy to setup. You can purchase additional pieces if you like I did they were added on just as fast. I love it!

This system was very easy to install. It was easy to install in an apartment which was highly surprising. The app is very easy to use and supper simple. The sensors are easy to relocate and no need to drill which makes it ideal for those who move "homes" often or travel a lot. I can see this being set up in a dorm room. The motion detector is not super great but it does work. If you buy this product you should test the motion sensor and really see what the best location would be. I always felt that the higher the motion sensor the most efficient but it did not prove to be the case for this sensor so if no pets I recommend 4.5 feet high

Love the system. Easy installation, and very easy to add more devices. Love the 24 hour monitoring, with the app letting me view in real time as well as arm or disarm from anywhere. And can't beat the price especially with no contract.

I’m very impressed with this system! First of all, it was easy to install, although it took longer than mere minutes, mostly because I needed to clean the surfaces where I planned to adhere the sensors. Once that was done, setup progressed quickly. I made a mistake while installing the HD camera, so I called customer service, and the agent was very friendly, patient, and extremely helpful. The mistake was clearly my fault, not the fault of the instructions, yet the agent never got impatient. She patiently got me back on the right track and gave me the confidence I needed to finish the setup. The view from the camera is amazing—definitely HD quality. I feel like I got a great system for the price!

I purchased this system to give me piece of mind while away for business and pleasure. The self-installations was simple as the system walks you through the steps. It gives notification when the WiFi is disconnected and when there is an interruption on power. Cons: 1. you have to subscribe to a $25 per month plan if you want them to monitor it for you. 2. The self adhesive tape on the motion sensors do not stick well and resulted in It falling off the wall and causing a false activation.

Easy setup, easy install, system works great, only knock is that system has to operate on the old 2.8 ghz wifi.

The product is one hundred percent safe, it leaves my house insured against any threat, it is very easy to install and use. I recommend it at 100.

I have had this for a few months now and am over all pleased with it. It was easy to install and much more affordable than conventional alarm companies. My only complaint is that the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors do not seem to link to the system, even after 2 hours on the phone with tech support, so I have been forced to use them just as stand alone units. This keeps it from being and complete home monitoring system and should be considered when purchasing.

Bought this for our son's apartment for collage. What a great investment in out peace of mind. Very please how easy to set up and use.

I bought this after having my third discussion with ADT over pricing after I completed the 3 year contract. I was told one thing before the contract would be up in two weeks and then when it was up, told something else. In a huff, I went online to look at SimpliSafe which I had looked at over the last couple of years. Saw it on sale at BB, ordered it and picked it up in the store an hour later. Tore out the ADT devices and installed this in a couple of hours. I was fussy with the install so it took a bit longer than they say it does. Had it installed before I went to bed. The fact that there were no holes to drill in walls, woodwork or doors was great. Easy to remove because they use the 3M Command strips so you can put in new strips and remount again if needed. The little tails of the strips hide neatly within the covers. I did have issues with error messages saying the base was not connecting to the monitoring center every now and then. After a few calls to SimpliSafe support I had a representative that was trying to troubleshoot the issue, It turns out that if you have solid surface or stone counter tops, the base has issues communicating all the time. Putting a cork coaster under the base totally fixed this. He told me a magazine or anything not solid or stone would work. I have had a couple of incidences and was totally impressed with their response time. When I called ADT back to cancel service, of course, they told me I was going to a lesser system and very slow response times. Not true so far. Savings a ton of money on monitoring fees.
