Overall I liked the system for security. But I did not wanted to pay monthly subscription to monitor

Easy to install and set up, very intuitive, I had it up and running with 30 minutes in my 3600 sq/ft home. The cameras have poor resolution in low light and the recording fees are high. In the end the cameras are not a good value. It is best to have a separate system for video recording. I am not using the monitoring system either but it works well for us.

The Simplisafe home alarm is a great product that couldn’t be easer to install and there support is there if you need them for anything. When I completed the installation I realized that the Simplisafe was better and had more options than the built in one I had. At a much better price and monitoring is next to nothing. I love it

Good home security kit for less price. I like simplesafe

After reading about SimpliSafe and the fact that you don't need to have monitoring service, I decided to buy the kit that includes a camera. While reading the setup guide, I learned the camera doesn't record activities. You have to have the monitoring service. Nothing I read stated that. I would recommend it only after mentioning the camera limitation.

This was add on product to Simpli Safe security system. It gave extra entry point coverage.

The system is good. It is our second. However the camera is indoor only and it won't work with our wifi and customer service is terrible. They only want to blame cable company.

It works well most of the time but keypad does lose connection to the base station approximately once a month and requires a reset. Keychain remote battery drains relatively quickly.

The SimpliSafe system started off fine when we initially bought it. However, it started to act crazy by not registering my pin entry properly dozens of times causing false alarms. Luckily, my system wasn't officially registered with the Police Dept. yet so I didn't have to worry about explaining about the false alarms that kept happening. Ironically, I got an email last from the SS rep about upgrading to the newest system with a 40% discount to where I was to send my old system back upon receiving the new one. In receiving the new one, my wife and I have been very happy with it. I'll still recommend this product because the service non-contract based.
