Ordered extra motion sensor and still haven’t got it working. May have to move base unit. Siren still not working after they sent a replacement!

The biggest nightmare, ever...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This security system by SimpliSafe is the biggest piece of junk i have ever bought at Best Buy. And there has been more that I'm stuck with but never, never thought I'd have to go through all this again about a security system that I've had to take back twice and still does not work the way they say. SIREN on borh didn't work or camera. I have a GS8 and if I can't get remote excess from it to turn on or off and check out the the camera; then rhwy havw a REALLY big problem. Wasted the entire weekend with it. DON'T BUY! ! !

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent at least two hours on the phone with various support personnel at simply safe. most of them are clueless. I had problem with the keypad which was not working with the base. When the base was working it could not connect with the keypad. the universal solution for debugging is to unplug the battery and a power supply. It was funny and frustrating at the same time. The design seems a bit cheap looking and definitely it is not robust to call it a security system.
