Everything is straight forward install. *Pro tip* Get an old credit card, and a super long screwdriver, when installing the antenna in the front. Use the grommit in the door to get the wires inside easier access. If that's too much for you. Connection in the back is easier because it's only 3 to 4 inches outside, then inside just hide all the wire ninja style. I did it in the front because my path was kind of drawn out in the Prius. Don't pay a bunch of money for the installation..you can do it. I believe in you.

I needed to transfer my SiriusXM radio unit to newly purchased vehicle. Smooth transition, everything works great.

Like the title, I read every review and noticed a problem in the antennae. If not for that, I would have given it 5 stars as my music plays flawlessly. The problem is the antenna jack, it's too loose and then the satellite error message comes on. It's not the outside black antennae but rather the wire must be jiggled until you get a clear sound. If you want, try placing a piece of tape where the antennae comes into the Onyx or what every you have. Now, my music plays and I do very minor tweaking of the antennae wire. Drove to Florida and lost reception about 10 times and jiggled the wire every time. That's about it, same service as your current model but now I can work the onyx between 2 different cars and never have a problem doing that

This docking station works great. I have the star mate 8. The docking station is a very easy install depending on your vehicle. I was able to complete the install from start to finish in about 15-20 minutes. Hardest part is running the antenna wire. Once the wire is run it’s a piece of cake. You have a couple different mounting options from the ac vent to a sticky pad. It’s a great and easy way to be able to have 1 Sirius radio between multiple vehicles.

Previous Sirius was shorted out while in use due to problem with car. Have come to really enjoy SiriusXM and wanted to continue my subscription. Did my research on what meets my needs and all of the new features. Chose this product and it's great. It's sleek looking, has a lot of extras I really don't need but has added significantly to it convience and easy use. Everything was compatible with previous model. Multiple adapters for docking port were included. Con: Previous model provided 1hour of loop recording (for one Chanel). This model only provides 30 min. Pro: This model provides 30min loop recording on all my designated favorite Chanel's even when not listening to that Chanel.

I bought this for a cross-country trip in a rental car, just used my own SiriusXM radio and used this to install it in the rental car. I used it as a temporary install, w/ tape to hold antenna and wires in place, easily removed after. Very nice, kit included all cables + adapters for different radio models.

XM auto kit; I think this is one of the most comprehensive kits available to XM users. The aux audio cable has 45 degree jack plugs, very difficult to find a cable such as this. This kit allows me to use my receiver in any of my three vehicles.

This has everything you need for a car installation. This should be obvious, but do keep in mind that to use Sirius XM in the car you will need to mount an antenna on the outside top of your vehicle. You will then need to run the wire from this antenna to the inside of your vehicle. This can be difficult.

Bought this item to replace a broken antennae wire. Shorty after replacing the antennae wire, the power cord wire started fraying. I'm so glad I bought this item. You never know when something else will break. Good price for the item too.

The vehicle kit was easy to install and works good. The only issue is that since it is an after market product, the radio sometimes looses connection.

This car kit works great on the car and the Sirius radio is perfect for those long trips. It is great to hear the music without commercials.

I bought this so I could move my Sirius XM radio from one vehicle to another. The original dock I had purchased from Best Buy was defective and they replaced it with no hassle. Reason I am only giving 4 stars is the dock seems to be a bit flakey. Only time will tell how long it holds up. Installing this was very easy. It took me less than a half hour to install this in my truck.
