My wife wanted to listen to her SiriusXm radio outside of the car. I found this to have a very nice sound, (I am a musician so I am picky), well built, and easy to use. On Battery power along it runs down a little fast, little over two hours, but it does carry a heavy load running the speakers and the radio. No difference in sound quality between running on batteries or being plugged into the wall. You are not going to get crystal clear sound of a live performance or a great home theater system but it is good enough to run as background music. I've not run screaming from the room in agony when my favorite classical pieces play. Portability is great, if you are going to run it indoors make sure you have a window with a southern exposure, you will not receive a signal with the antenna indoors.

It works great. Works exactly like it is supposed to. The remote makes it really easy to change channels or the volume. It's relatively small and east to transport to other places. It is also light weight. I have not used it with batteries yet. So, I have no idea what the battery life will be.

Decent speaker dock to be able to listen to satellite radio in the house. It is loud and has decent sound. Portability is nice. I would have liked to have had equalizer settings to change the sound, and even though it is portable, you still have to keep the antenna near a window to get signal. It is on a long cord but it is inconvenient to use. The pictures that show it being used indoors on a kitchen table in the living room aren't telling the whole truth. Satellite signal indoors is little to null and you need to get the unit near a window to use it.

I have two BOSE Wave radios for which I bought two SIRIUS home docking stations. Rather than undo a BOSE w/it's station to play outside on the deck I just plug the SIRIUS Radio into this compact portable and can enjoy nearly the same quality sound anywhere outside as I enjoy w/the SIRIUS Radio hooked to the BOSE's inside. Down side; on eight D batteries I've only been able to get approx. 3 hours playing time but that doesn't matter as it comes with an AC adapter and my deck has an AC outlet for that. Still, so much less equipment to deal with. This portable speaker doc has enhanced my deck time.

the product is priced well and sleek. nice sound from the speakers easy to navigate, remote works from a good distance. however it does notpick up good signal even when facing the window as the directions say. the signal goes in and out no matter how to position the antenna. it's great when it works.

I use this item every day. It works well and looks great. The sound quality is good and volume range is excellent.

Glad I purchased the portable speaker deck. The sound is great. The size of the deck is great doesn't take up much space.

Great radio/speaker system for my mother since she loves the Sirius satellite channels. It is a nice looking radio/speaker system which was very easy to set up and use. My only complaint is she keeps the radio in the kitchen so if it gets a little warm, the radio will not turn on.

Sounds great, easy to set up, my first set of battery's only lasted about 5 hours, they might have been cheap ones tho. After that it was everything I was looking for. Sounds great too.

We bought this to replace the big ugly boom box so we can use our XM radio anywhere. Unfortunately it does not have a way to conncet our external speakers that are already installed, so we had to keep the big receiver - for now.

Listen to music of your choice w/o commercials. Light weight and portable. We use it on the patio as well inside the home. Remote control handy for changing channels. Big sound from small package.

I received this docking station from my son for Christmas. It looks good, the remote works great and it actully cranks up. It also runs on batteries too!! Great item to have and easy to use.

I am glad I made this purchase. It looks nice, is easy to use, sounds great and is small enough it doesn't take up too much room. We are very pleased.

Bought this dock for my new shop and I was surprised of the sound quality out of such a small box. No mater what kind of noise I have going on in the shop I can turn the volume up to hear the music. Just wish the antenna was magnetized so I could stick it on the side of the metal shop.

Was easy to use and has very good sound. Is a compact unit so doesn't take a lot of space.

I bought this so I could take my XM radio from work to home and listen to programs I like while doing things around the house. It has a nice sound to it, surprisingly loud for the size. I just wish the antenna didn;t have issues sometimes trying to find a signal. I was outside once with it, trying to listen, and it kept losing the signal. I kicked the antenna, though, and then it was able to find the signal.

I bought this sound dock to replace my older Sirius boom box that quit working. I was disappointed that the boom box was discontinued because it had good sound quality and was portable for going to the beach, etc. This new speaker dock is more for use inside the house and is of good quality but has less bass response due to it's lack of a subwoofer. All in all a good product and the only choice at this time since there is no alternative available to replace the old boom box.

I had a portable deck for my satellite receiver that was several years old. It developed a problem detecting the antenna and I could not fix. Bought a new antenna but it did not help. I bought a new portable deck but feared the old receiver would not work with it, but it did. I am very pleased to be back on the air again. The decks, however, are not cheap.
