Would have given 10 stars if I could have; Blake and Erik came out and were the most efficient, helpful, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable pair I have yet encountered in my past 20 years of home theater involvement. Their site assessment was the most comprehensive and fair I've seen! I wish I had known about Blake and Geek Squad before - as I wasted considerable time looking into the so called "professional home theater" shops in the Treasure Valley area - even had three different companies come out to provides estimates. 1000% calling Blake and the Best Buy Geek Squad for all future home theater needs!

Sean helped us determine best way to convert from DirecTV to Hulu. advised us on selecting streaming devices, then installed devices. He provided much needed answers to our questions and was very knowledgeable. He had previously installed our new WiFi equipment and did a great job. We specifically ask for him on home service, and so do my friends. He gets a FIVE!

I have had 2 sets of Techs out, first for the install of Smart TV and Sonos Surround sound system with multiple zones, then a follow up with questions and revisions. All 4 Techs were awesome, everything set up complete, all questions answered, all functions reviewed, all suggestions appreciated!

They moved our old entertainment center out and mounted our new 77” LG TV and sound bar “ floating “ on the wall, in its place. Fantastic job and the men couldn’t be nicer!
I signed up for a Best Buy card free for 1 year, and got enough rewards to pay for the cost of the installation!
They did the job in 2 hours that would have taken me all day!

Joshua and Dave were challenged to install a hearing aid device to my TV. Because the TV was associated with a theatre system the installation was not simple. The two technicians put their heads together and after some time figured out how to enable my hearing aid device. It required using an adapter and rerouting the "apple Modem". Good job! I can now put the volume at comfortable volume level without blowing my wife's ears off.

I submitted a request to fix my 85 inch Sony tv. geek squad scheduled my appointment, technician came to my house, checked the tv and told me he needs to order the part to fix my tv I said okay.
After few days a different Technician called me he supposed to come and fix my tv I was explaining the problem and situation but he was rude and he kept cutting me and not letting me finish than he hang up on me. So I called customer service and reported what happened. I was told a supervisor or manager will call me on this matter but no one called me.
Anyway they rescheduled my appointment and sent different Technicians these technicians were very professional and helpful. Service was fast. I am giving 5 star bcoz I like the professionalism and service these technicians provided

Had the Geek Squad deliver and hookup my newly purchased TV. They verified the appointment the day before and ensured that everything needed for the next day setup was onsite. They arrived on time and promptly setup the unit and provided instruction on how to operate the unit. The Geek Squad members cleaned up and left things as they were prior to their arrival. This was the first time I used their services and I won't hesitate to use them in the future.

My last session with the geek squad was to update my navigators for two different vehicles. Both vehicles had the Garmin navigation. One was the windshield mounted unit which I did update my cell with no problem. The other navigation system is for stereo purchased through Best Buy with with also the Garmin navigation system equipment. It is updated through an ST card. It's actually installed in the Lincoln the Lincoln did give me information to update the navigation system. The technician which was trying to update this could not figure out where the file was this navigation system was in updated through other technicians from the geek squad so I know it was there somewhere. He could not locate it so we both came up with an idea to copy one navigator to the other. The problem is now both navigators want to use all sidestreets instead of highways, which would be a faster route cannot figure out why. However tomorrow I will try something different and try to reach Dr. Hermione supervisors possibly the technician that was trying to help me. Maybe should have thought of that but regardless problem is not really solved because it does not wreck recognize highway use in a way I have a bigger problem than updating at this point, but somehow, I will resolve this. I do not know how the navigation that is in my computer got corrupted but there technicians from Best Buy are the only ones I allow in these computers. So at some point. Obviously a technician decided to try to make changes or something that he should not have been trying to do. Apparently was not trained or have the technical training to even deal maps throughout the computer. I do hope I can resolve these issues quickly because I do use navigation wherever I go. It is a very important part of my vehicles actually due to health situations. Therefore, this needs to be done ASAP. Will try to do tomorrow. As I said no one person can possibly know every answer to every question. I never worked in the technical part of any computer, but one I did work. I did work mainly as our millwright and even with my training which was extensive. I still had questions and was never afraid ask. I do believe the geek squad team needs to address the situation of asking questions and getting answers instead of just attempting to make changes, especially due to these computers. I realize they try but they need to learn they cannot know everything they have to get the answers they need, as I did when I was in the workforce

Richard and Nick came to tell us what type of TV and to see if we could use the equipment that we have. Richard took his time and checked everything out and told us what we needed and that it would work. He said Elvis would call and we could purchase what we needed through him. We ordered a Sony and the mount needed with the wiring. Elvis suggested which TV he thought would be good for us with the mount. He set up the order snd checked with Richard to make sure we had all that we needed. Our date for Richard & Nick was also scheduled by Elvis. We were THRILLED with the professional, accuracy, & personal attention that we were given by the Geek Squad!! We will do pictures when all is set up on 3/30/2022!!

Agent came to set up the job and then scheduled a Geek Squad installer. The scoping agent left some gaps. When the installer came he pointed out the radio receiver was redundant because Sonos has a built in radio. He also needed another Sonos port which was not in stock when he went to get it. Instead of the hard wired bookcase speaker he recommended a Sonos sound bar that does not need wiring. In all the installer gets 5 stars, the scoping agent gets 3.

I was really fond of my technician he came out to complete an in home assessment. My desire was to install an 8 camera monitoring system in my home. Upon arrival I received a telephone call letting me know what time my tech should arrive. When my tech arrived he treated my home with the upmost respect, he put protective gear on his shoes prior to walking through my home. I was very impressed. After assessing my situation, he discovered the 8 camera monitoring system was not the best option for my type of home. He recommended a wireless system that would not require a lot of drilling and damage to the interior and exterior of my home. I appreciate his honest opinion. He was professional and prompt offering great customer service..
