He was extremely knowledgeable of all the products that we purchased and explained how to use each product. The geek squad came on time were professional and friendly. They are no problem Hooking the bracket up and hanging my television set to the wall. They did it in a pretty quick time and you can tell that they were experienced. They busted out a clean job. I think it’s very expensive though if you can’t do it yourself then these are the guys to go to. I ended up moving recently, and I found a friend who hung it for me for free. I Could’ve gave him 50 bucks But now it broke so I bought him a 12 pack instead that beats $400 and he did it almost as good as geek squad. Hung it Perfectly same outcome Maybe took seven minutes longer than Geek squad no big deal and save $400

We purchased an entire home system (audio/video/etc.) from the Huntsville, AL store in January; the fellows that came to install it on February 5th (Will Nall and Greg) were excellent. However, one of the components didn't work with the connectors / adapters they had on hand, so they were supposed to come back. The sad news: they never did, so I had NUMEROUS confrontational conversations with the "customer service" people (who are anything BUT helpful), and had to eventually make a trip to the store to get any help. Finally, Will Nall saw my request in their system, and took it upon himself to circumvent all the bureaucracy to get my installation finished. PLEASE modify your processes to give people like Will Nall the latitude and authority to take care of customers; were it not for his proactivity, I would be bashing Best Buy. Take care of this guy -- he's good.

First, I didn't know Best Buy offered this...great service. Plus with Totaltech membership I never have to worry about installation and delivery. Love this program! Geek Squad was quick, polite and excellent customer service. Gave me options when they come to install my tv for tv wall mount brackets they sell so I didnt need to worry about going back to the store to purchase one.

Great job completed in 2023! Installed my new TV over my mantel and fireplace! The Geek Squad did a wonderful job completing the process. It works fantastically. I have also purchased a printer from Best Buy

Jamal and his assistant were absolutely awesome . They helped me select a television and stand and picked it up at the nearest Best Buy and installed both perfectly. The were very professional and pleasant and should be recognized by Best Buy.

Brandon came out and we quickly knew we had someone that knew what they were talking about. This is our third media room and needed an experienced person but were limited in our small town. I just found this review option now. Many efforts to communicate with messages left even never were responded to after a negative unfollowed-through experience with a Home Site Survey some time ago. I called the "store" numerous times requesting a return call from a manager, and no follow-up ever took place.
I still have a stereo system with incredible speakers that I can not use because of this neglect. For years, and I NEED resolve.
Yes, the technician came to my home as scheduled. However, there was never any follow-through, not even to direct efforts to communicate. I even sent pictures and nothing was responded to. No recommendations how to get my speakers working, or what component upgrade suggestions might be compatible, nothing! It is hard to trust Best Buy, as this happened before with the same tech - no follow-through AT ALL when he specifically asked me to send pictures.
And in general, you can never even get someone via phone in your own region. No one in the store, which is quite a long drive away and can not simply be visited. No one ever answers or calls back; and forget about ever getting a manager when things have escalated and an unresolved problem has gone on for waaaaay too long. How many customer service "reps" in one's area (that are not really in your area at all) that pretend to take messages for supervisors or managers but which are never really forwarded at all is astonishing. Even as current as yesterday about a BIG matter. Especially after having to wait exorbitant amounts of time on hold first.
Even the chat option with a real person was unpleasant - yesterday FYI. Highly informative person, but aggressively pushing a (very high-cost) sale throughout, or he/she did not want to "chat" further and kept politely threatening to close the chat, which he/she did when the high-cost sale did not happen fast enough. (That huge sale did happen same-day, but not within his/her very short window of time.)
Yet, in some areas in the country, one's options are limited and one must tolerate this horrific level of customer "service" that does not even exist. And there is absolutely no resolve or accountibility in those cases.
It is consistent on nearly all occasions of the always regrettable need to communicate with the store about a needed product, and always when there is a greivance.
I am sorry (only slightly) about this negative review ...but it HAS to be said. This kind of consistent customer service is NOT OK.

Devon Moore and Sam did a wonderful job installing a mounting bracket, mounting our TV, and connecting it to our receiver, VCR and DVD. They were very knowledgeable, efficient and conscientious. They were very patient with all of our questions and set up our new TV so that we could use it with ease. I would highly recommend them!

We had a site survey regarding our (old technology) NŪVŌ audio system with SONOS in-ceiling speakers. We were not sure if it could be upgraded given NŪVŌ ceased production end of 2021, and all support ceased 10/31/2023. We have 6 rooms + outside patio totalling 17 speakers: We didn’t want to NOT use if it was possible to upgrade.
Roberto was professional, patient and complete in his review of the current system. He assured me only the amplifier would need to be replaced, and explained HOW we would access the new system via our devices since the hardwired control panels and docking stations would no longer be used / relevant.
He researched, and I was sent a recommendation for a new amplifier within 2 days.
I was so pleased with his service, we will use Roberto for the new amplifier installation.

I was having a problem with Google Chrome working after I installed it. With Amazon Prime videos It would work for a few seconds and then the video would freeze. The store suggested having the Geek Squad (GS) do a site survey as there may have been problems with the WiFi, dish, etc. The GS determined that there was no problem with my installation, the WiFi, etc. The problem was a compatibility issue with Amazon Prime and Google Chrome as other non-Amazon Prime programs could be cast to Chrome. The GS recommended purchasing the Amazon Fire TV Stick to alleviate the problem, I did this and now everything works as it should.

So the installers that came to mount my tvs and floating tv shelf wasn’t Geek Squad but some 3 party contractors. First problem was that they tried to double charge me for installing wires in my wall. They tried to say that it wasn’t on my order but I had purchased all of the components for this installation from Best Buy. After checking for wall studs, come to find out I have a wall breaker and these items couldn’t be used. Wished the In-Home Consulters would’ve detected this when they came.
Second problem was the first installer seemed like he didn’t know what he was doing. Was about to mount the wrong tvs on the wrong side of the walls as I instructed him to do. He even drilled two holes in my wall that couldn’t be used. Luckily they are hidden behind the tv so you can see them.
Third issue that was done was when installer was drilling holes in the wall for the floating shelves, he pretty much had a lapse of memory on one occasion. As he was drilling the wall fastener, he then took it completely out and drilled the screw inside of the hole, which caused the screw to get trapped inside the wall. After spending 20 mins trying to get the screw out, he proceeded to get his ShopVac and sucked the screw out the wall.
Overall after the failed swindling for extra money and the two unused holes in my wall, the job looks good.

Men arrived on time. They were both respectful of our home. Explained options. Surveyed their options to install our architectural Sonos/Sonance outdoor speakers. They remained on site and was patient until our speakers were functional and we knew how to operate them. Very pleased with the product and their professionalism.

Oscar Lechuga and his partner were fantastic in hooking up my Ethernet. Oscar was communicative from start to finish, they were punctual (actually they even arrived early, and let us know when to expect them so there were no surprises), and got the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible with minimal disruption to our day. My Ethernet connectivity works great and I’m beyond satisfied with the service!
