I have been a bond fan since I was a kid, I can remember watching 007 movies with my dad, and now love watching them with my daughter. We all loved this movie (65, 32 and 13 years old). If you are a bond fan you will enjoy this movie, Daniel Craig was not my favorite bond but this is now my favorite 007 movie, and I own all 23 (bought the 50 years of bond BluRay set even though I already owned most of them on DVD). For all the die hard bond fans there is a spot for skyfall in the 50 years of bond BluRay set.

I won't review the movie itself since you can find many places for that elsewhere. Will just concentrate on the bluray itself. The video/audio quality on this disc is top notch and definitely reference material. Whether you are a Bond fan or not, it's one to keep in your collection. All the extra features are in HD which is nice and there is about an hours worth of documentary type features showing how the movie was made. There are two audio commentaries from the director and producers, but they don't include any of the actors. Also, there are no deleted or extended scenes on the bluray.

Daniel Craig's third outing as Bond is his best. Daniel Craig's movies of the Bond Franchise focus more on the personal. Even more so in Skyfall as we return to Bond's roots in the fantastic third act. The villian Sylva is a shadowy reflection of Bond; and they share more with each other than is first evident. Although his master plan at revenge is far fetched to say the least, the pace of the movie makes you forget how ridiculous it is. The final showdown is rewarding and riveting. The blu-ray includes the iTunes digital download which is big plus.

Everything about this latest entry is true to the Bond franchise. Everything is right. Even adele's theme song got it right. Bond movies have always been big and this one is no different. The return to Bond's (and MI6) roots is refreshing. Daniel Craig has given 007 new life. Sam mendes handled the daunting task of a Bond movie with rousing success. He gets it. Javier bardem was creepy as the villainous silva. Old characters are given new updates and the cinematography is awesome. I highly recommend this movie to all bond fans, hardcore and casual.

That was amazing! The Bond geek inside me is shouting with joy, just a great Bond movie. Really shows what can be done with a good script and talented director for the franchise. Even better than Casino Royale, and possibly the best Bond movie of them all, would have to rewatch the early Connery films to be sure. Such a great old fashioned Bond action movie while still being fresh and culturally up-to-date. Deserves a best picture nomination (at least with the larger format).

Skyfall is the story of James and how he became the superspy that he is. If you are a Bond enthusiast, this disc will give you all the information you need to know about where he came from, if you aren't, then you diffidently need to watch it. Maybe I've become to attached to "M," therefore the ending did not please me; This Bond runs more than any I remember, but it's effective during the action scenes; A bonus is Adel singing the title song.

I could never accept Daniel Craig as 007 but then one day I watched Casino Royale and loved it and was impressed to how he made the role his own. Skyfall may have its plot holes and inconsistencies but it’s a great action movie that will make you care about Bond. The picture quality of this bluray is fantastic and I would personally use it as a demo disc. If you like Daniel Craig, Bond or action movies in general, check out Skyfall.

Skyfall is the best James Bond movie I have ever seen. (hear me out Connery fans) It took the usually formulaic plotline that we all love and enhanced it. This means more sitting on the edge of your seat and less killing random people that dont matter to the story. Plus, the villian is the creepiest I've seen since the Joker. Bravo

I really liked this movie. I liked this better than the first two Daniel Craig James Bond films. Daniel Craig is the best James Bond since Roger Moore played Bond in the '70's and '80's. I really liked the story, the scenery, and the soundtrack. Adele's title track song also reminds me of Shirley Bassey's theme songs from Goldfinger and Moonraker. A true James Bond fan will enjoy this movie.

The 23rd James Bond film celebrates fifty years of 007 in grand style. The only problem is there are some familiar plot elements that have been pulled from the spy genre & used here. Don't be mistaken this is a great installment & is leaps & bounds better over "Quantum of Solace". Not to be missed

Loved the movie. Ex 00 has planned everything to get back at M for her betraying him. Javier Bardem plays an excellent role as the mysterious Silva. His plan to get back MI6 is brilliant and leaves you on the seat of your chair the whole movie. One of the best Bond movies ever and they way they movie ends moving new characters into place for future movies is great.

Bond is back and ready for service. Very exciting entrance scene and setting! Glad to see Q making his return to the series. I hope for some good/new exciting gadgets in the future films. Glad to see they are going back to the traditional bond/M story lines. Can't wait for the next film.

After the first three Connery films this has to rank as the best. Skyfall even pays homage to those original classics to come full circle. Of course the special effects have come a long way since those early days and it's refreshing to see the Bond character less of the caricature that he has become in recent decades. Give us more like this!

I've been a bond fan since the Dr. No hit the screen. However, I was not crazy about Craig as Bond until Skyfall. Craig finally nailed the part. Bond was taken back to his roots. The superhuman persona was cut way back and Bond became human again. Very enjoyable film. Excellent film quality, but nothing less would be acceptable for a Bond film.

While I haven't seen every Bond film, what I have seen of them makes me feel this is a throwback to the good ole days. Classic references, great characters and wonderful storytelling, Bond deals with old age like, well, most of us "normal" people do too, which as sad as it is for a guy like Bond, made us relate to him despite him being Bond.

I really wish more movie studios would get on the non-Ultraviolet bandwagon. Downloading the digital copy of Skyfall was a snap. Within 3 minutes of having the package open it was downloading to my computer and syncing across devices. Awesome. Thanks Columbia/Sony for recognizing what consumers what in the digital age and responding thusly.

May be the best Bond ever. I'm pretty sure that this will be the Bond film that all others are judged by....... I'm sure some people will disagree. Everything about this film is perfect,,,,,, acting, set design, story, action, suspense. It's got it all. I give it 5 stars and hope they can continue to make more Bond films like this one.

So far, this is one of the best Blu-ray releases of 2013. The clarity of the picture really does the gorgeous cinematography justice. The audio is very, very good as well. The movie has some good action sequences and some clever references to previous Bond films which I enjoyed. If you like James Bond, you won't be disappointed.

My boyfriend got me into 007 movies. We now have the entire collection and he's made me watch all of them. I REALLY enjoyed Skyfall. I love that Adele did the theme song, and Daniel Craig is the best Bond! I'd highly recommend this movie to any Bond lover or even someone who just wants to get a taste - you'll be hooked!

What can I say, Skyfall is a great movie. The stakes are high in this film and Bond must once again be the hero. Even if you are not Bond fan, you will stay glued to your seat because the story is very captivating. Long-time Bond fans will enjoy the easter eggs throughout the film. This is a must-see film.
